Degree: Theatre/Theatre Arts Management
Graduation Year: 2017

Alabama State University is a great place for opportunity. The Theatre Arts Department is a great place for any artist to advance their craft. Being an almnus of the university, I've connected to many opportunities and traveled for the betterment of my career as an actor.

It is a great school, but has too many problems for me to actually recommend anyone attend unless they offer you a full ride. In my four years, I've had three different Presidents of the school and two different Deans of my College. The administrative staff never can give you a straight answer. They will send you all over campus just end up back to them and then they might give you the answer you're looking for. Most times they are not even in their offices when they schedule says they're suppose to be.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2016

I enjoyed my time in ASU. I was able to build a great relationship with my teachers and friends while receiving great formal education. If you make good use of your time, you will definitely succeed at Alabama State University. The small size of class makes it easier to benefit fully from your instructors. There are tons of career fairs, network activities and extracurricular activities that would boost your chances of coming out as a good professional in whatever field you find yourself.
