"Please do not waste your money here. All my degree brought me was serious debt. They also do not have real job placement assistance. They will write you a resume. From there they tell you how you can enter it onto Indeed yourself. That is the extent of their job placement assistance. They wont tell you but they are a nationally accredited University, not regionally. Employers put a lot more stock in a degree from a regionally accredited university."

"Anthem College bought my local campus, Morrison University in Reno Nevada. When my career changed and I was traveling out of town, I learned I would have trouble finishing my degree, however, with the addition of Anthem College and their existing online program I was able to continue while taking the promotion. Even though I graduated in February, 2014, some of my classmates fell behind and were unable to graduate before Anthem filed bankruptcy. With that, many of my friends classes and three plus years of work was a waste of time. Most of them had to start over, while others, after months of searching found a school that would let them continue, however most were due to graduate in June, and the new school requirements caused them to study for additional year and a half. I feel Anthem, and the mother college Florida Career College (whom is still in business), really short changed a lot of hard working students and many may not have went back to finish. I find that very much like a Trump University Scenario. Florida Career College and Anthem are not a good school to attend if you can avoid it."

"I am a former student of Anthem College Online and I have earned a Bachelor's degree! ( I am so proud)... I'd like to take this opportunity to dismiss some of the negativity that I have read on this site. It seems that in this day and time not everyone is serious about education or understand why colleges other than universities exist. For this reason many choose to attend and give as little as possible of themselves, don't follow the rules and expect to cruise through the program with ease. When this doesn't happen they complain and give these institutions a bad name. TODAY I STAND UP FOR THESE SCHOOLS!! When you are serious and commit to a program, follow the rules, turn assignments in on time, stay up all night writing papers to earn the absolute best grade possible and go through the hard to complete a degree the program will work for you!!! But most of all I feel that most don't think about the fact that if it were not for these schools most working people would not have a chance to earn a degree. These programs are wonderful! It is sad that Anthem had to close but I would have recommended this school to anyone! It challenged me in many ways and it was not easy! Every instructor I had a Master's degree, some had Doctorate's along with tremendous backgrounds. They were all impressive. Nothing was given to me, I earned every grade I received. I want to be clear here for the employers that may come across these reviews, Anthem College Online was a great educational venue! I am proud to have attended"

"I had some great instructors and good help from student services. I can only give you a review about the Atlanta campus of Anthem College, which is now closed. I feel that Anthem College could've done a lot better with its schools."

"I came back to school to fast track into a second career. I worked hard and learned lots while in school. Some people on here complain about school, of course I don't know their situation, but in my experience you have to be willing to invest your time and energy if you want a worthwhile return. My instructor really cared and encouraged me to keep going - offering more coding practice, etc...and the school librarian was helpful too. It gave me the foundation pieces, so I could go on to get my CPC from AAPC. Career Services had some staffing changes when I finished up my program, but they are solid now and have reached out to help me as I advance my career."

"THIS SCCHOOL IS NOT THE ONE!!! PLEASE LISTEN AND SAVE YOURSELF TIME AMD LOTS OF MONEY BY NOT GOING HERE! THE SCHOOL WAS NO HELP AT ALL, AT ALL..... I WAS IN THE MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING PROGRAM AND IT WAS A HUGE DISASTER, I HAD 3 DIFFERENT TEACHERS AND IT WAS A 8 MONTH PROGRAM (lol) EVERYTIME I WENT TO CLASS I WAS LUCK TO SEE THE SAME FACE TEACHING THE CLASS... THEY TEACH BY A WHEEL AND IF YOU ARE JUST COMING INTO THE CLASS YOU HAVE TO LEARN WHATEVER PART THEY ARE ON UNTIL THEY COME FULL CIRCLE TO THE BEGINNING OF THE LESSON (STUPID, I KNOW) THE TEACHING MATERIAL SUCKS AND THE BOOKS ARE NOT UP TO DATE. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. IF YOU MISS A DAY OR 2 THEY ARE HOUNDING YOU BECAUSE IF THE ATTENDANCE DROPS A CERTAIN LEVEL THE SCHOOL DONT GET PAID!CAREER SERVICES IS A JOKE, DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU INTO THINKING THAT THEY WILL FIND YOU A JOB, DONT LISTEN TO THIS AND YOU WILL SEE!!! "This school did absolutely nothing for me. I wasted all of my time and tens of thousands of dollars just to be laughed at when I go to an interview. The hospitals and surgery centers in the area all know this schools game and you will not be hired. My preceptor admitted to me on my externship that she knew the school was a rip off and was just interested in getting students through the program without giving them the proper instruction and tools that they need to be successful in the field. I graduated with academic excellence and perfect attendance throughout my program. My instructor only let me do 3 surgeries and told me I should do something else. No instruction in the lab whatsoever. Classroom training was so dysfunctional that our instructor couldn't even pronounce the words on the information packet for the weekly test which all he did was read for 3 hours each day. I studied and learned by myself all of their program I could except got no lab training. They did not need to have a teacher there. They could have just given me their information packet and I could have gone on Friday and got an A on the test. At best you will be offered a job cleaning instruments for $10/hr if you are lucky...lol Oh yeah, and another thing, the financial aid lady told me when I signed my life away that if you end up not liking the school you still have to pay anyway. I would not go here unless the government is giving you a free ride. Cheers"

"This is a good school - BUT just know that it is a small school, and not currently CAAHEP accredited. So if you are thinking your going to graduate and get your CST your not. You will only get your TS-C. This is if your wanting to be a Surgical Tech. I always recommend you do your homework. It is great in that you have only one course for 4 weeks - however it is hard to sometimes adequately learn all the material in 4 weeks, and with that you either get it or you don't - so think about that? They are not that widely known in Atlanta - and there are atleast 20 other schools in Atlanta with similar programs - so the competition is out there.I have seen this school go through so many teachers, Dean's, and Campus Presidents that we don't even attempt to learn there names anymore. At this campus when you get a good teacher (one the students like and learn from) they fire them! We have had three people in student services, and now just found out Anthem is ridding of that department all together. The externship program is a joke! The only reason why I didn't quit is because I am so close to graduating and don't want to see all my credits (which will not transfer anywhere else) go in the trash.I can't say though its all bad - I have been blessed to have some good instructors. BEWARE though - the students here have 0!!! and I do mean ZERO morals, behavior skills, personal skills, and I have even been in classes where some students don't even know how to read! So this is a college that will take any and all. Which can be good and bad! Good part - yes they get a chance - BAD - they represent you on sites as well.I have seen students who are no where prepared to become Surgical Tech's go out in the field and make a fool of the program ---- now with me only 4 months from finishing - I get pre-judged because of the rumors of this school.FINALLY - the $$$ of the school. Research and make sure you want to pay what they are asking!"

"Anthem College in Maryland Heights is the worst. Let me start with the Campus President who is incompetent and fake. The only time she would come to the 5th floor is when she want us to boost the "Likes" on facebooks or when she is showing the school off to people in suits. Now, the Dean of Education is completely incompetent and fake also. She talk down to the students and put on a fake smile when she passes in the hallway. I can't think of a time when I enjoyed my experience at Anthem College. It's a constant turnover of staff and faculty. The admission rep who helped me was fired 2 weeks later and then there was a number of instructors quitting. Probably due to the incompetent Campus President and the incompetent Dean of Education. The instructors work hard to provide us with the best education but you can tell that they are under stress. The school would be much better if they would get rid of the incompetent people and really bring in people who really want us to be successful. Not these fake people who just want to take our money."

"I am acctually cruently in the school. Im in dental assistance and I love it. its faced paced so if you enroll its best to have a perfect attendence. I think its really cool because everyone there wants you to suceed. At the end of i think about 6 months you go on externships that the school hooks you up with and you go to a reall office for about a month or two and get to learn what its like to be in an office or hospital. And they help you find jobs after you graduate. as long as you read and take good notes and study its really easy."

"This school was my worse experience ever in college. I got out after 2 months. With the little instructions and how fast they go, you will walk away with very little. The teachers let you know that they are there to guide you through your bookwork but not there to teach you. It was 100% horrible!! I went into a 2 yr program at another college and it was a the right positive decision that I made and would never turn back."
