Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2017

Auburn provided me with the tools to feel confident entering graduate school. I would recommend Auburn as an environment where student's feel safe and prioritized. Many schools make students feel as if they are just another number, however Auburn personalizes the college experience. This is impressive, considering how big Auburn University is. Auburn provided me with the quintessential college experience that I am proud of. I feel holistically educated, equipped, and confident to take on the real world. I think Auburn University is a stand out school, especially in the SEC, because it genuinely feels like family. Auburn is very big, but it does not feel overwhelming. I saw familiar faces everywhere I went. Auburn was the perfect step to get my feet wet in the real world without being forced to dive right in.

Degree: Biomedical Sciences
Graduation Year: 2010

Studying biomedical sciences at Auburn University helped me secure a Rhodes scholarship to study at Oxford University and also prepared me well to study medicine at Harvard Medical School. I found excellent mentors who guided my undergraduate research in organic chemistry and I found the rigor of the molecular and physiology sciences to be top notch. For a large public school with excellent academics and a great football culture on Saturdays, you will find no more welcoming environment than the beautiful Auburn Plains.

Auburn University was a great place to receive my degree. My professors helped me find a career and were honest and upfront about the added degrees I would need to make my dream happen. I was able to be part of an amazing internship, which helped me decided on a career path and allowed me see first hand what I was going to do with my degree.

I love Auburn. It is such a beautiful town and everyone is so friendly. I liked almost all of my teachers and there are classes available at so many different times it's really easy to get a schedule that really suits your needs. There is so much to do there but it still feels small and cozy.

Degree: Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography
Graduation Year: 2008

Auburn is a great college in a lovely small town. The school offers a great balance of academics and social opportunities and the name and degree are well-respected. The students and faculty are very friendly and close nit, allowing a feeling like a small school even at a large university. Alumni graduate with a sense of belonging and family. When traveling I frequently get warm greetings from strangers with associations to the university.

It has a great faculty and staff. It's a growing school and a lot of the facilities are brand new compared to when I was there.
