"At Augustana college, I doubled majored in Asian Studies as well as Biology. Both of these programs had their pros and cons at times but on average I really enjoyed my time spent at this institution. In terms of atmosphere, the campus, classrooms, and overall quality of the teachers I would say it was quite exceptional for such a small college. I was often able to build my own courses, became close with many of the professors, and was able to enjoy the campus thoroughly. Overall, it was a good experience."

"As a whole Augustana is a great campus community to be apart of. No matter what you decide to do at Augustana the people there make you feel welcome and like you're an important part of what you're doing. As for the History program at Augustana I have nothing but high praises and thanks for it. Not only were they able to allow my already great love for history grow, but they showed me that history is much much more than just a hobby that people have, or a class we all have to take in school. Each one of the professors in the program is very knowledgable and passionate about what they are teaching which shows in their students participation in classes."

"Augustana hasĀ a level of competition and a standard of work that has made my graduate degree seem easy. It prepared me intellectually to move forward with my career, and my schooling post grad. The biggest issue with Augustana was that it was full of students that had never had to work hard in their lives, and were completely dependent on parents, and the professors treated every student like they came from this background. This problem offended many students who were not from this background."

"Augustana is a great school and gave me the best 4 years. I had great experiences there with the faculty and fellow colleagues. The classrooms are small which is great because the faculty actually know your name instead of being just a number. Having the faculty know your name makes it easier to go into their office hours for help which means you have a better chance at doing well in the class."

"Augustana College exceeded my expectations for school. I was able to obtain two bachelors of arts degrees as well as a minor to pursue multiple passions at the same time and diversify my experiences and knowledge. I was given the privilege of working with some of the most interesting, inspired, and intelligent professors imaginable, some of whom I still share ideas with two years later. Augustana prepared me for finding a suitable career path, post-grad job, and graduate school courses. I was lucky enough to be able to hold several internships during my time at Augustana to offer me insight into different fields and specialties within my areas of study. In my junior year, I was provided funding from Augustana to use towards studying abroad in Jamaica which enabled me to travel the island, learn about the unique culture, and teach music at an orphanage in Kingston, Jamaica. During my senior year I was provided the opportunity to work on a national sociological study as a research assistant to a reputable professor in the field of sociology. The experiences and knowledge gained at Augustana have enriched who I am as a student, employee, individual, and member of society."

"It was a necessary step on my education path. I chose law school after a couple years after graduating, and my major was a definite boost."

"Liberal arts college nestled in the Quad Cities near the Mississippi River in Illinois with a beautiful campus but, more importantly, many opportunities. Qualified, dedicated teaching professors who really put their time and effort into your education. Great study abroad options available all over the world. If you are into sports, arts, music, there are opportunities for that too. You can get a really full, well-rounded education here."
