"Bennington is great for students who would like to explore different options in their career. It is situated in a beautiful area. Professors are very attentive to what students are interested in within the classroom. There is a lot of control in terms of what you want to do."

"It's a fantastic place to learn and grow. It promotes independence, initiative and creativity. I would recommend it to anyone considering a non-technical degree program. It was excellent preparation for my later pursuits in technical fields. I learned an immense amount about writing, critical thinking, myself, and people in general."

"Bennington legitimately gives its students significant freedom to explore their interests but also expects them to take responsibility for driving their academic inquiries. The College prizes itself on its tight-knit community and is an excellent space for self-exploration."

"Bennington is a wonderful school that will open your mind and teach you to think for yourself. Filled with passionate students and teachers, it is the perfect place to try absolutely everything. Unfortunately, real-world skills are not a high priority in the curriculum. But if you are self-motivated to use your FWT experiences to fill in any gaps, you can make it work."

"Students get as much out of Bennington as they are willing to put in. There are no grades, and your education there is largely self driven. As someone who always disliked the general busy work of school, being able to tailor my education to my strengths was much more beneficial than structured classes."

"Great faculty. Diverse student body. Beautiful campus. Gay-friendly. Though, expensive."
