Student & Graduate Reviews (1)

Degree: Graphic Design
Graduation Year: 2011

When I look back on my school experience, it is hard to see it in a positive light. The only benefit I got out of attending Briar Cliff University was the student to teacher ratio. As a small school, it was easy to contact professors when help was needed. Outside of that, the "career center" consisted of one lady that could not possible help every student which left me completely lost as soon as I graduated. There was no instruction on getting out in to the working world of the possibility of grad school, etc. It has been 3 years since I graduated and I have yet to acquire a job I can call my career which I feel is due in part to a lack of guidance. Upon graduating, the only correspondence I have received from the school is when they want me to donate money. Having said that, as I do not have any other college experience to compare with, it could be possible that the same could be said for other colleges? Either way, I played a sport, got a double bachelors, and a lot of debt. I would probably do it differently if I had another go at it.
