"This schools absolutely sucks!!! BEWARE From the administration to the science department. I’ve had advisors from many schools mention the problems they have with students transferring from BC. It’s absolutely horrific. They do not care at all. Professors in the science department are the absolute worst! They do not answer emails, they do not offer adequate feedback and they are all smart on the mouth. Many of them are not decent human beings. The amount of students that they fail in the science departments are no joke. Save yourself the time, money and financial aid and go somewhere like Keiser, Chamberlain or FIU."

"I attended this school in South campus many years ago and did have a great experience. I read one review this page that BC does have a high pass rate; that is very true for many years. My class was 50 students and 11 of us in the original group graduated together and we all passed our NCLEX-RN exam. This school is tough program that prepares you for real life nursing. To be successful in this nursing program, a student needs to be ready for hard work, studying, putting all your heart in it no matter what difficulty you are going through in your personal life. I read my chapters in my books, followed the power points given and practiced my own knowledge in the Sanders NCLEX-RN book before my exams. After the 1st class, 25 students were left. They only give you one retake or else go to LNP school and come back to RN school. I personally did not want that to happen to me. I worked on my studies, spent time practicing my skills at the lab. The instructors can be demanding with high expectations. You had a mix of professors who are extremely kind and those who picked on a student for unknown reason. However, the foundation I received in this education has made me a safe Registered Nurse. I would recommend this school to a person who is determined and not afraid of hard work, not afraid of spending time in their studies, get to school on time and ready for learning/feedback."

"BC has awesome professors who really care & prepare you for your career. Also, most are flexible & able to assist you & address your questions outside of class. The problem is that you get little to no help from administrators like advisors & financial aid; you have to pretty much figure everything out on your own or hope one of your professors is knowledgeable about your pathway & how FAFSA works. The worst part was when I found out how much useless administrators with fancy titles earn compared to the professors. Most of my instructors taught at other colleges or worked other jobs bc the pay is so low. I knew K-12 are poorly paid, but didn't know it's even worse for professors & who have more education. I never realized that people who push paper all day earn so much more than the teachers who do all the work & I've also seen how some students treat them. Like, if you don't like school, just don't go or get s certificate in something. As you can see from the poor reviews, those students shouldn't be anywhere near a hospital or doctor's office. Some of them are the worst students, & want a degree handed to them. They failed themselves & that makes life safer for all of us- lol! Go to BC for great educators (and a really nice campus too) but make sure you have a contact to guide you in your career pathway & financial aid."

"Please do not attend BC for nursing. It is HORRIFIC. The Professors are lazy and barely teach. I was looking forward to returning to college but they are making it so hard. I’ve been stressed since I re enrolled. Please go somewhere else! They don’t care. It is all about the money. It’s sad."

"I had an excellent experience at Broward College. The professors were great, the classes were interesting and informative, and the admissions counselor for the BAS program was awesome. I was able to complete the BAS program within 15 months because I followed exactly what he said, and followed the schedule he provided. I recommend Broward College for anyone who is considering returning to school to finish their bachelors. I was 39 and hesitant about going back to school when I signed up, and now at 40 I have a BAS in supervision and management cum laude management. Thank you Broward College!"

"Not sure what's been happening at Broward but it's been downward spiral for a while. I started at Broward in 2017 and it's a night and day difference now. One thing that has been consistent is the bad administration. Every review that talks about something being lost or people providing incorrect information is accurate. Should have been a flag the first year when they: Assigned another students ID number to me, didn't update their website to let anyone know they moved the Registers mailing address so transcripts went to the wrong location, then when the address was corrected, they lost 2 sets of transcripts sent to them from my previous college. Because no one gives the same information, you have to verify most info you receive from admin. You either get a really good or absolutely terrible general education professor, especially in their science department (I would highly advise going to a different school for Natural Science or any Bio degree). Advisors are rude and unknowledgeable. Honestly, the list goes on but for the good: they have a solid IT program that gives you the opportunity to test for certified within the IT industry and theo school is affordable."

"This is my first year first semester in BC, and I'm having an online public speaking class. For this class, we've only met once on Zoom and the second week it was Veteran's Day so there was no class, third week the professor said we need to take our first test during the class period so there was no class meeting as well. fourth week due to the weather issue the professor had internet outbreak and there was no class. Finally, sixth week it was Thanksgiving and no class either and the last class for the whole semester is on 12/2/2021 and that's also when everything's its due date which are an informative and persuasive speech outline due, PowerPoint of unit 8 due, both video recording of two types of speeches due. And all the information on how to write the two types of speeches were taught by word document."

"If you can choose a different school, do so. Out of 70 incoming students, only 4 graduated that semester. And that’s only South Campus. They have a high NCLEX pass rate because the actual pass rate is so low. If you’ve been accepted then attend another campus. They are unfair and create EXCESSIVE amounts of stress on students. We took a lunch break and agreed on a time so I went to my car and came back “30 min late.” I was sent to the Dean’s office even though the other students stood up for me. In clinicals, the professor told me she would pick on me and ended up failing. She said “what kind of hispanic are you and you don’t speak spanish?” It was hell. They ruined my GPA so I couldn’t attend another nursing school I had to go back for an LPN. Most of the LPN class were students of Broward College.."

"This is the worst school in the US it starts with Sara Kaufman director of financial aid. She is the biggest liar in Florida. Her Dept held my financial aid for no reason I couldn't get books or materials I needed for my classes then I failed. She told me I would get my loans now I failed my classes she's telling me a whole other story. She is horrible and needs to be fired. The President of the school is just as bad. Save your money go to a real school DO APPLY HERE trust you will have the same experience."

"Broward College offers a great value for the degrees offered. The professors are knowledgeable and helpful. Class sizes are small which really lends to a sense of community. Broward College offers online, semi-online and on-campus options to best fit the needs of its students. I have, and will continue to, recommend Broward College to others."

"Broward College is a great school! I graduated high school in 2010 and took a hiatus from college, until 2015 and with the help of Broward College, their advisers, and teachers I have been able to excel in all my classes and will be graduating with, hopefully my current GPA of 3.88 or higher come the end of 2017 Spring Semester. Broward College is an affordable and diverse school that can present you with many opportunities. I am proud to be graduating with my Associates Degree from Broward College and would continue my Bachelors Degree with them as well, if they had my program. Thank You Broward College!"

"Great school. Love the downtown center. The students there are focus. Great professors from all over the country and schools. Named top best colleges in the nation in 2014. Great Nursing program, if not one of the best and cost effective in South Florida."
