"Brown Mackie is a great school, it's great because they work around you busy or non busy schedule. They have a program where you can take one class a month and that is very useful to many people who get distracted by tons of work at one time. Brown Mackie helped me open up to my fellow class mates by having a lot of activities in and out of school. Everyone there always has a smile on their face all thru the day. They even have after school programs that help you find jobs or at least get a feeling of what career path is. Overall I recommend this school to any and everybody that's not in school yet. The program that I am in is Criminal Justice, I chose this path because I love to solve things and I love how csi t.v shows have so much excitement in them. Criminal Justice is a great field because you don't actually have to become a police officer there are other things in that field such as social work, child support officer, and a detention officer. There are others as well as these but these are some of the fields that I was interested in. I love Criminal Justice and my chairman at Brown Mackie is very cool he is very hands on and that's the best way to learn in this field."

"The college and degree program, for me, had it's ups and it's downs. That, I think, you will find at any college. Some classes/teachers were fantastic, some of the teacher's had tons of insight and were extremely knowledgable about any and everything and had developed a really affective method of teaching that helped you remember and understand the information. This is the most important thing when it comes to only having one course a month, when so much information is being crammed into such a short amount of time. Other teacher's felt about as unprepared as we were coming into the class and all that vital information flew right over our heads. Tutoring was a big issue for information we didn't understand; it was at the discretion of the teacher if they were willing to stay behind for tutoring because many of them had other jobs. The facility itself and the resources available were pretty good, but teacher availability was an issue. This is definitley a college that can appeal and be incredibley schedule-friendly for some people. In my opinion, there are certain degrees that just require more time."
