"The practicum department is unethical and unsupportive. They won’t have your back, and won’t admit their mistakes. They’ll gaslight you all the way. You’re better off going somewhere else for the MSW. It’s just not worth the grief. Go elsewhere. Respect yourself."

"There is no advanced standing, so you just keep learning the same things over and over again. You can’t work because no employer will give you two weekdays off every week for internship. The pace is too slow. The internships are awful. It’s dehumanizing and negative."

"The music program at CSU Northridge is one of the best that a public institution can offer in CA. It's Music therapy option - one of very few in the country - is highly selective. It's media composition option also has a successful track record of preparing it's graduates at a high level, and getting them into the industry. The jazz option has history of making highly successful performing jazz musicians, and boasts a nationally recognized Jazz A Band. The CSUN Wind Ensemble is it's flagship ensemble that has toured nationally and performed at many prestigious events. The variety of music options makes it a great place to network and meet future collaborators, whether they be other performers, or those studying to be music agents, events managers, hold corporate music positions, or music teachers."
