This school is a good jump start for all of those who have commitments in their lives already. The instructors knowledge is vast, and the students are very welcoming. Its been a very good experience, and i would encourage anyone to give it a shot.

I will not disregard that CPC does provide a service to the community that is much needed. The compact timeframe that a certificate can be achieved is high need. The problem though is that the school takes advantage of that need.

A person comes in to learn more about the school and isn't allowed to leave without signing up to start school the next week. The kicker is the financial aid. In order to attend school you go into serious debt taking out loans.

Yes, school is expensive and loans are many times necessary. The problem is that the population who is being forced to take out these loans can't afford the loan now or after they graduate. The jobs they get just don't cut it, which is why staff will not answer questions about how much the program costs.

Going into debt for education isn't bad, just make sure you are getting what you are investing in. What we have here is a situation where the wealthy see an opportunity to make more money and don't care who they are stepping on in the process.

If you decide to go here, you will gain the skills you need to achieve in the work place, just know you might not make enough to pay off the debt. Invest in a future you can afford.

The instructors were very knowledgeable and cared about my education. I had family issues that prevented me from coming to school. My instructors helped me out to finish. I now have a good steady job thanks to the instructors at Career Point.

The faculty at this school is inadequate of teaching the curriculum. One teacher's teaching methods are different from every other teacher's methods there. The Medical Division Director displays demoralizing etiquette to students who seek out help and guidance. Teachers as well talk down to students and belittle them if things do not go their way. The structure of the faculty department overall needs to be improved dramatically. The curriculum is great knowledge but the faculty and employees there need to learn etiquette and mannerisms.

After being out of school for a while I was really scared of going back to get the education I should of. I can happily say that after a week I am in the swing of things. The work load is something I can handle along with my job and family.

The instructors really know their stuff. If I had a problem I can go to them and ask for one on one help. The deans are great they care about you and your success. The school just put on a Fiesta day for all the students and provided drinks and tamales for all. 98 the Beat was there and plenty of food to go around. The school does plenty to show their appreciation to us the students.

I am happy I chose Career Point College I am getting valuable skills and a quality education to get ready for a better job and future!!

Career Points helped me find a great job. No I am not making $55,000 a year to start out, but I know I can learn enough to earn that one day. The best thing of all is I am proud of what I do and I know in my field of study the possibilities are endless. Career Point changed my life.

I started school here in Sep 08 after considerable research of the different schools in San Antonio. The price for an associates degree was very comparable to the other schools I researched.

The instructors in my field were very knowledgeable, since many have worked in the private sectors of their chosen fields and now are teaching and sharing those experiences with us. They are also willing to take the time to help and answer questions. All you have to do is ask.

Most of my classes were self paced and I was able to get ahead of the normal time line that is in place for completion of courses.

The campus is small and friendly. The student body is diverse and from all walks of life, as you would find on any campus. The school is growing daily. I always see maintance painting and improving the look of the classrooms and grounds.

If you want a small campus life, instructors that have real world experience, hands on experience in the classrooms, then Career Point College is the right place to be. I am glad I came here. I have learned so much since I started and made many new friends.

I came from a poor high school and learned long time ago that the building you learn in has nothing to do with what type of education you receive. I am almost done with my externship as a Medical Assistant and feel that I have learned alot since I first started. It's been hard working nights and going to school during the day. I can truly say that I dedicated myself as much as I can to my studies and my teachers have been great. I believe the office that I am externing at now would be a great place for me to end up after I graduate. Career Point has made it easier for me to go to school while still keeping my present job.
