"I am a student in the 'flex' program for AAS Business Administration. The instructors are great. The 'academic advisor' is not. The premise of the flex program is that you work at your own pace and get as many credits as you can for each 7 week period. The 'advisor' always makes me drop courses when I sign up for more than 2 for each session. Says it isn't time for me to take them, after saying choose your classes. He needs to be replaced. He is no help at all. I believe he is trying to set students up for failure."

"The school is affordable and most of the instructors/professors seem to care. The other 25% of the instructors/professors are just there to belittle you and grade your work. The customer/student service is horrible! If you need help with registration or financial aid you will get the runaround. They never call back if you leave a message. When you get through, they won't tell you what you need to bring in even if you ask on the phone. You will need to make two, three, even four trips for something that other colleges get done with one phone call and a visit. Good thing the school is cheap or nobody would put up with such bad service!"

"The teachers really care about your success. They are usually working or have worked in Albuquerque. I felt they prepared me to join a higher level of teaching that the state really needs. I never had a problem with the administration either, always helpful. The online classes were as helpful and educational as the in class experiences."

"CNM is affordable and gives great value for the money. Classes are small facilitating easier access to professors. Great preparation and support for the move to university life."

"CNM is a great school for students of all ages. This is my second degree. My first came from UNM. Compared to UNM, CNM is much more convenient, affordable and student friendly. Classes are smaller, parking is much easier, classes are affordable, and the staff is more accessible. I no longer feel like I'm just a tiny face in a huge ocean of other students in a huge auditorium type room. The staff genuinely care and want you to succeed. In clinicals, former graduates are much better employees than graduates from other schools. We hear it all the time from the charge nurses and their co-workers. CNM produces very competitive job candidates who are prepared and well rounded to start their new careers."
