Too expensive, quadruple the amount of regular community colleges and none of the credits transfer if you ever want to progress and go into nursing. They make you apply and use financial aid even when you prefer to pay out of pocket. Only good thing is I met some amazing people, became friends and stayed in touch. Just go to regular community college to get your certifications.

Degree: Hospitality Management

When I enrolled, I thought I was going for the Medical Assistant class. After few months I realized that they had signed me up for the Hospital Administration Course. I figured, why not since I was thinking of leaving bedside nursing and being a CNA and having to endure a burnout phase for a 2nd time, I thought, desk work will do me good. I didn't realize later that this HUC course which was given and train by my hospital is for free for all CNA. This course with the college cost me $19000 and I... Read More

Charter college is a great school being on campus helps a lot with learning the hands-on skills you need for the real-world workplace. If you live out of state there are online classes. I love charter and my instructor is the best! Please come to charter college and start earning your degree today

I started Charter College with the intention of getting my CMA certificate in a matter of 10 months. The enrollment process was fairly easy, but the enrollment personnel definitely brush over a lot of things. First, I wasn't told that at the end of your program, you have a five week UNPAID externship. I was not made aware of this until one of my instructors mentioned it to me after my second mod of school. (Keep in mind, while I was in school, I was a CNA living paycheck to paycheck.) I was trying... Read More

What a joke! very disappointing for 20,000$... The teachers hardly respond to your teams messeges along with emails. There is nobody on the same page or behind. HUGE LACK IN COMUNICATION between anyone you are always lost... The head person from Vancouver WA accused a student of stealing a laptop as well even though she had her own... I would not send anybody here I would tell someone to spend the extra money else where. When we went back to in person I missed the first night of my class because... Read More

Degree: Veterinary Technician

Program is way too expensive for the certification given. Business first, all about the numbers. Admissions does not know what a VA does. Do your own research. Limited hands on experience. Does not fully prepare you for a career in vet med. Recommend checking out other VA programs in your area.

I wanted to pursue a career in Pharm Tech and signed up online to receive newsletters. Within a day, a Charter College recruiter called me and made me sign papers of enrollment instantly! He hardly broke down the overall cost, which is a hefty price of $23,100! For a certificate? I know local community colleges that charge one tenth of that price. I would not give them another second of my time and emailed my unenrollment. They had no regard of the price and didn't have me speak with a financial... Read More

Charter college in Bellingham, Wa claimed I never graduated so now I have to pay a grant back which payed for over half of my schooling. I walked on stage, got my diploma and completed the externship program and all the paperwork that came with it. The program was rushed with very little hands in experience.

This college is very expensive $23,100.00 for a certificate program. They will take all your FAFSA grants money plus you will need to take students loans to cover the expensive certificate program. They forced the students to take the 3 exams for the license from NHA (National Healthcare Association) even when they students are not ready to take the exams. The first exam is before take the internship. The internship is in 3 months just at the beginning when you just started the program. Then the... Read More

Degree: HVAC

This school is an absolute joke and I advise everyone who decides that they what to go to school for HVAC and refrigeration to go anywhere else but here. The staff at Charter College said to the students that we would get a lot of hands on training. However, the hands on training consists of our hands on a computer doing everything online. There are two different instructors for this class. One instructor primarily uses YouTube to teach his class and when you ask him questions he is absolutely no... Read More

The institution was more concerned with getting people in to get money than they were with the quality of education the students received. The lab wasn't built for the first two months of us starting the HVAC/R program. They decided that the best way to teach the students hands-on training would be online. Why didn't they wait until the lab was finished before enrolling students? Halfway through the program, the instructor decided to quit for a module and then come back. While he was gone, we had... This course, or whole program rather, is absolute garbage. I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. The teacher doesn't give a damn and makes it blatantly obvious. We get marked down for asking questions, we don't get any help from the instructor. Charter College is a rip off, I could've learned everything from YouTube and online readings for MUCH less than $24,000. Their motto should be,"We work to steal your money." Anybody considering the Charter College HVAC program, don't do it.... Read More

So far, since I have been going to this school it has been an amazing experience, the teachers and staff are all very nice and approachable.. I was looking around for a good medical program and I picked Charter College. Looking at the reviews and what the school is about, I went ahead and applied to the school.. This has been a great experience for me.. I wanted to get on the right track to be apart of the medical field and Charter College is openly and honestly helping me to achieve this goal..

I’m so glad I went back to school! Charter College in Pasco, WA has some of the best staff that are always willing to help. It feels like a family! We would get together in the HUB and study. I totally recommend this school for HVAC, medical assistant or dental. I’m even going back for my AA!!

WASTE. OF. TIME. If you have any alternative do NOT go to this school, saying the education is sub-par is being polite. It is a business, they have one goal and one goal only...to get your money. I went through their MA program as they did not have HVAC yet, and pretty much completed it sans the externship. I learned NOTHING that I did not already know save for how to take a BP, which you can do that on YT, which seems to be their number one go to for education material. Switching to the HVAC program... I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. They are a business, first. Being a school is their second priority. They do the minimum to keep up with accreditor guidelines and feign care for their students. They love a good "rags to riches" story they can highlight and boast about, but the average student is just pushed through their certificate mill and charged upwards of $20k for a certificate that they may not need. They make lots of promises while they are trying to get you to enroll. It's a sales... Read More

I moved 1,500 miles to go to this school because it accepted the VA but now I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this school ever. DO NOT waste your time or money going here. I am in the Medical assistant program in Montana and I have to say that I am seeing a lot of bad reviews and people saying not to go to this school. I can honestly say that Charter is so welcoming and kind, from the moment I started school. Calls can be persistent from what seems like sales people, but they are friendly and want to get you started.
