"Chestnut hill College is one of the very few Catholic colleges that makes an emphasis on helping the student succeed. The smaall student to faculty ratio provides one on one academic advising and tutoring . The college mission of Dear Neighbor ensures that we give back to the community and country. The Digital Forensic program is led my former law enforcement professionals who have practical experience in the field"

"The Chestnut Hill College Music Department may be small, but has much to offer. There were only twenty music majors when I attended. Unlike large universities, I had multiple opportunities to perform in jazz band, string ensemble, wind ensemble, chorus, men's chorus, and pit orchestra. I had my own practice room that I shared with one other person all four years. I am still in contact with all of my teachers and actively converse with them on Music Education related issues. Recently, the college decided not to discontinue offering this major. They still offer other music related degrees. I can't believe they would discontinue an education major where everyone that graduates finds full-time employment after graduation."

"By December 20th, 2017 I will have completed the Clinical and Counseling Psychology program at Chestnut Hill College's satellite campus located in Center Valley, PA. Every professor that I had the pleasure of having were either actively practicing within an agency or a private practice, or were no longer practicing in the field but have extensive experience and case studies to share. I can confidently say that I'm leaving the program a more insightful, confident, and self-compassionate individual. Not only does Chestnut Hill College's program mold you to become a wonderful therapist for others, it encourages you to become more gentle and loving towards yourself. After all, if you do not treat yourself with compassion and care, it will inevitably become impossible to do the same for others."

"At Chestnut Hill College, you will find yourself among a vast multitude of people. There are no social boundaries at Chestnut Hill, allowing for classes to be geared toward understanding the curriculum as well as your fellow students in a better light. The professors care deeply for their students' success, which is made evident in the day-to-day classes. Small class sizes allow for more professor-to-student interactions without feeling like you are just another number in the system. The Financial Aid department does a fair job guiding you through your tuition expectations and payments, but make sure to keep an eye on your semester payments, assuring all information was recorded properly. The food provided by the cafeteria could certainly use some sprucing up, but the historic town of Germantown, Pennsylvania is just up the road and provides a plethora of restaurants at an affordable cost to most. Chestnut Hill teaches you not just how to make it in the "real world" in regards to career, but it helps you to grow as a person. You will undoubtedly find that, if you dedicate time to learning, the lessons taught will transcend academia and stay with you far beyond graduation. The athletic department of CHC is diverse as it hosts baseball, softball, lacrosse, sprint football, tennis, soccer, and Quidditch. Yes, CHC is often referred to as Hogwarts, and the stunning architecture of the college lives up to those expectations. I highly recommend looking into CHC as a next step in your educational path because as a Chestnut Hill Griffin, you are bound to soar to great heights!"

"Chestnut Hill College was an amazing experience! Faculty and professors actually care and stay involved with students from day one throughout graduation. As a former griffin, I truly appreciate having professors that pushed me to my academic limit by challenging courses and coursework."

"Chestnut Hill College had a lot of diversity in its curriculum and student body. The professors and advisors made sure that I received the best guidance possible for my future career and educational endeavors. I graduated with a 3.68 GPA and finished with honors and am a member of Tau Upsilon Honor Society. The faculty makes sure that the students are aware of any scholarships that may become available to them as a Human Services Major."

"The campus is small, but beautiful, and in a safe residential area north of the city. Many of the teachers are nuns, and are very devoted to their students. Grad students do not experience as much of the campus life."

"Great academic program, specifically human services department. Completely prepared me for success in my career. Geographically, the grounds are beautiful and it's centrally located to many different areas; it's close to the city but also King of Prussia area, Plymouth Meeting, etc. Socially, the school is very small and everyone knows everyone, causing cliques at times. If you're under 21, it seems like on weekends there is a struggle to find fun things to do on or off campus. Overall it was a good experience."

"CHC's Psy.D. program generally has a strong community-oriented atmosphere where the professors want to see their students succeed. There is a strong emphasis on education for the sake of application in the job market, rather than for busywork or competitiveness among students. Compared to what I have seen and heard from other programs in the area, I am extremely happy with my choice to attend this program. The only main drawbacks to this program are the small library (which can be overcome via the use of interlibrary loan) and the pressure of finding your own practicum sites (although this prepares students for the real world job market)."

"Embarking on a new journey as a graduate student their are a lot of uncertainties and apprehensions one may have. Chestnut Hill College allows the typical graduate student to feel at home. The faculty and staff do a outstanding job creating avenues where one can ask questions and gain a great sense of support and security by using class time to address those easily overlooked subjects. Another advantage of going to this college is that it's very economical. With the cost of education skyrocketing Chestnut Hill provides many opportunities for any type of student to receive scholarships and feel comfortable taking this journey without the constant concern of being in even deeper debt when everything is said and done. While Chestnut Hill gives some insight in what to do next after graduating it would be beneficial to have more guidance and information on opportunities after graduation. None-the-less, Chestnut Hill is an awesome school where one can learn, achieve, and build relationships that will last a life time."

"I think that the program and the faculty are wonderful. The work load is challenging but not impossible. The surrounding area is nice, but expensive and trying to balance working with class work is hard. With practicum placements beginning soon working is going to be even more difficult, so any additional financial aid would make the experience much more enjoyable."

"Since this institution is so small the faculty and staff is almost always available to answer student questions. The professors know their students by name and try to get to know everyone personally. They understand that graduate students are usually employed and need accommodations once in awhile."

"I think that the program I am about to enter is a great program. My major concern is not being able to afford it considering I already have loans from attending Ursinus College for my undergraduate degree and I have to take out more loans for graduate school."

"I love the hands on experience that we are receiving, even in our first year. Through watching various videos, client testimonials, and even self-disclosure, I am learning so much. My professors are so well-rounded and have a lot of insight, working in various clinical and psychiatric fields, I feel like my classmates and I are really benefitting. The reading also really supports and enchances what we cover in class, which was not my experience in undergraduate studies. If I had to think of an aspect of my school's graudate program that could be improved, it would be the availability of some professors. I understand that they all have full-time jobs, but so do the majority of the students. And one of my professors says to email her, but she does not typically respond. And there is a definitive difference in my professors who are passionate about teaching. They take the time in explaining theories and methods, or any issue that a student may need clarified. Whereas some others just flip through slides and PowerPoints, without any in depth explanation. But overall, I really enjoy my professors and am glad I chose to attend Chestnut Hill College."
