"I actually transferred away from CBU due to how dangerous the area surrounding campus was. There is a Dollar General right off campus that is robbed all the time. My car was broken into on the campus parking lot off Central. You can hear gunshots at different times throughout the night. The dorms are horrible. There is mold and it smells. The cafeteria food is nasty. Some of the professors are nice, but overall it was a horrible experience. I am glad that I left."

"DO NOT GO HERE!!! i attended for a semester, and was promised a full ride. when i went to enroll to classes for my second semester, must to my dismay, they told me i had an outstanding balance from the previous semester of almost two thousand dollars! this made no sense, because if i had an outstanding balance, and never set up a payment plan, i should not have been able to attend the first semester. i am a first generation college student, and i made it very clear to them from the start that i had no idea what i was doing (as far as applying, financial aide, etc.), which i deeply regret looking back. because of this, when i found out about the money i owed i brought my friend's mom with me to help, since shes much more educated than anyone in my family. the whole time they kept repeating things that didn't make sense, until my friend's mom started using legal terms. then their entire demeanor changed. I am fully convinced they took advantage of my lack of awareness. I thought it was just a one time thing, but not long after, it happened to a friend of mine who also went there. in addition, the dorms are absolutely disgusting (mold, trash from previous inhabitants, broken ac, broken toilets.. the list goes on) and there's always people repairing the campus, because they spend the smallest amount of money possible, and none of the repairs last. i also learned very little in most of the classes i took, as the professors were extremely lazy, and did the absolute bare minimum. this place is run by money hungry people, who scam uneducated kids in the name of their god. and to top it all off, its located in the middle of the ghetto, and several student got robbed on/near campus :)"

"Christian Brothers is a very diverse, welcoming, and "home-away-from-home" university. As someone who needs more one on one time with professors in order to better understand a concept, a small school was perfect for me. The Psychology program is phenomenal, and the staff are all very amiable and approachable. There wasn't one professor who didn't know who I was whether or not I had taken one of their classes. All members of the staff were involved in Psi Chi, the International Psychology Honor Society, and this motivated the students to join and be active in the organization and on campus. I feel my program helped me network and prepare for graduate school."

"Christian Brothers University is an awesome college. They have a great program in the education field and many others. I loved attending Christian Brothers University. It is a beautiful campus and very diverse. The class sizes are very small and the teachers really get to know their students and make learning fun and enjoyable. I loved being 1 of 20 instead of 1 of 100. I would definitely recommend this school to everyone."

"Christian Brothers University is a great place to go to school! The diverse culture and small class sizes allows you to get the best out of your education. Located in the heart of Memphis, it gives you the opportunity to go put your blue suede shoes on and visit Graceland, then go check out the Memphis zoo and finally watch the Memphis Grizzlies grit and grind their way to a win all in one day! Professors are very helpful and care about your future. Set yourself up for success at Christian Brothers University!"

"CBU is a fun and quaint little campus. Instructors are very organized and genuinely care about your education. The staff is always polite and informative. It is a great place to feel comfortable going to school no matter your age or educational need. The resources are quite nice and kept in wonderful condition. Young students always seem happy and older students, such as myself, feel well accommodated while pursuing their education in the evenings. I am not affiliated with any religion but I can assure this school does not discriminate against anyone for any reason!"

"This program is expensive, but not more expensive than any other graduate program. I do not like the fact that they do not offer any graduate scholarships for education and that the facilities are not handicap accessible. The buildings also need to be updated asap. Other than the few things I mentioned, this is a great school."
