"The Cleveland Institute of Art gives you an excellent education as long as you take your studio practice seriously. What you put into your education is the amount you will receive. There are so many opportunities for networking and sharing your art with the community as long as you work hard. Some people complain that they are unable to find a traditional career with their degree but I believe that when you are getting a degree in any division of fine arts you should be doing it for the passion you have for the work. If you are someone going to college to get a degree just to make money, it may not be the place for you. If you are going here because you want to improve your craft and live the live of a studio artist, it will be the greatest educational experience of your life."

"I do not regret studying at the Cleveland Institute of Art. I believe that my art would have never gotten to the point it is now if I were to have attended another school. Besides the negatives such as expense and the way they take away teachers and switch around facilities, The professors push you and give you freedom to explore any media outside your typical major's material. This counts for majors such as sculpture, painting, drawing, and printmaking and a few others. I majored in sculpture and painting but my final BFA project was video work of living things."
