"The academic support I received at Culver-Stockton College was superior. My main degree classes were divided up between 2 main teachers. These professors had such an open door policy that they would sacrifice their lunchtime to meet with students. The psychology suite was designed in a way that the professors could not seclude themselves. The professors were available more than what their office hours posted. If you had any sort of question you could walk in and unless they were in class they would meet with you as soon as they can. Occasionally they would have a board meeting, but if that was the case a sign would be posted on the door. The Culver community is one like no other. It is a small college with about 1,500 students. You become very close with every student. It is hard to walk to any of your classes and not recognize at least one person. The student population is very good at including others and making you feel at home. The negative side of the school is the upper administration. The financial aid office does not communicate well to the students or parents. I had a unique situation with my school because I had a large scholarship being applied to my account. The scholarship was used for "academic needs". However, the financial aid office applied it for my tuition without asking me where I would like it being applied. In addition, my scholarship covered my tuition in full so rather than distributing my academic and athletic scholarship towards my cost of housing my 2 scholarships were revoked. The academic and athletic aid from the school is applied to your account last. They will not allow you to have a surplus (credit) on your account. Despite the superior academics, I would have to not recommend this institute to future students. The complete lack of communication and lack of moral standards from the upper administration made my experience at this institute unbearable. There are other universities who will be able to provide excellent academics."

"C-SC is a great small college where you are able to branch out and find out who you really are in a small town environment."
