"Delta State University is an excellent school with a great small school atmosphere. Classes sizes are small and allow for a more personal experience. The instructors are caring and always helpful. The advisors treat you as an individual and help guide you throughout your selected program. I would highly recommend Delta State University!"

"If you are someone who values an up close and personal relationship with your professor and classmates, Delta State University is the school for you. The small campus is located in Cleveland, MS. The campus is easy to navigate, and there is always something to get into. I must say that before I came here, I heard many rumors about how difficult the coursework was, but I could not have made a better choice! I felt challenged in and outside the classroom while also being able to have a personal tutor if I needed one. Aside from that, everyone is very friendly. I have gained a lifelong group of friends that I call family, and I developed strong relationships with the staff here."

"Delta State is a horrible, boring school. The campus police is so ready to give you a ticket over something you really did not know about. The school is so strict and the campus is just boring as can be. Nothing to do. But again watch out the ticket-ready police."

"Delta State is a great school. I really enjoy the college of business, which is one of the flagships of the university. The professors are very knowledgeable and give practical information as opposed to just theoretical. The campus is becoming better and better every year. You learn something that you can definitely take with you to a job. Delta State in general is a tough school, much tougher than people give it credit for. Every grade you get, you will earn. The professors are tough to make sure that you get the material and get your money's worth. Of course, Delta State has one of the lowest tuition rates in the state of Mississippi and probably the nation. It's a small school but it's very affordable, exciting, and is always looking for ways to improve itself and create increasingly better opportunities for it's students. Not to mention that the city of Cleveland, MS is a very unique town all on it's own."

"This school is a joke. The instructors are unprofessional and prejudice. The material is not relevant to current issues or practices in the workplace. If you are searching for a quality education that will boost your career, DSU is not the school for you. However, if you are on a budget and just want a degree, this may be the place for you. It's like comparing Wal-Mart to Target. You get what you pay for."

"DSU is awful and I would not recommend it to anyone. The professors of the Human Resource Management module in the College of Business are very negative and demotivating with their teaching style. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't with them. The feedback is very canned and inconsistent. They come off very bitter and unhappy with their jobs especially Dr. Harbin and Dr. Hochradel. The assignments in the syllabus are meaningless. Also, the entire program could use a little sprucing up. There was only one of two class out of 30 hours that applied to things that can be used in corporate America. Please invest your money in a more reputable school. This place is a joke."

"Pros: I liked the fact that it is in a small town that allows you to travel with ease. Everyone is generally nice as well as the people in the town. Cons: I wish there was more diversity and integration between the races on campus. It seemed a little segregated."

"Small class size was the most appealing attribute for my choosing to study at DSU. Curriculum requirements and content were parallel to that of other universities in the state. The professors were knowledgeable about subject matter, amicable to encouraging students course study and knew me by name. The university is located in a wonderful little "small" town with lots of offerings for college students and the community is supportive of college students and prideful of the university."

"Delta State is a great university to attend. At Delta State your professor gets to know, in which that place great role in you succeeding. The professors are always looking out for you and always ready to help you to succeed. The professors are very understanding. I enjoyed being a business major."

"When I was in high school and I told people that I was interested in art, they would always reply with, " Oh Delta State has a great art program." And they were correct, it is a great program with exceptional instructors. I gained new skills and improvements in my drawing and painting. I did five years in the graphic design program before I decided to pursue a painting degree. The classes had a great 15 to one ratio. The courses were rigorous enough to prepare you for careers. I will say though a BFA should just be a starting point, you should get your MFA. Delta State is a great place for developing a portfolio to prepare you for MFA applications."

"I absolutely loved going to DSU. I moved out of state to attend there and it was the greatest experience I could have asked for! From the curriculum to the students life, it was a blast. The teachers really get to know you, and the whole place feels like home. I got a degree in Exercise Science, and the professors did a great job preparing me for a job as a personal trainer. They help you learn to interact with others in your field, and encourage you to step a little outside your comfort zone!"

"My degree program is awesome. I am a very outgoing person and I like to be involved in most physical activity sports but most importantly I love working with kids. This degree gave me a opportunity to work with kids and learn so much about recreational and leisure activity. From administrating my own recreational facility to learning key things about outdoor lifestyle and more I learned it all in this program. This program allowed me to go on many trips like rock climbing, white water rafting, and kayaking and much more. It was completely organized and physically challenging which made me appreciate the program even more."
