"I went to Drake Law School to be close to home while still attending law school. This was a mistake that I realized after the first semester. Many of the teachers are unprofessional and the only recourse for students is to go to the administration who are equally unprofessional. While studying for the bar I realized that not only was not much of the content, much of what I taught ended up being wrong. They claim that their students enjoy a less competitive environment while actively encouraging toxicity and a cutthroat culture. The student financial services and other offices that handle payment are equally bad, every semester after working with these offices and being assured that the student loans would cover, there would be a surprise bill for around $300, including charges for clubs that I was not a part of. YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEND THIS LAW SCHOOL."

"College was a rewarding challenge. I am grateful for my education and the life experiences that going to college offers. I think that everyone should have the opportunity to attend college because it has such an impact on your growth as an individual."

"Drake is a private, liberal arts college, located in Des Moines, Iowa's capital. A degree from Drake will be considered highly in most career fields. I appreciated the high standards that every professor set for him/herself and for students. I also appreciated the wide variety of student organizations on campus that allowed me to collaborate with fellow students. I would especially recommend Drake's pharmacy, law, and actuarial science programs. Drake is one of the few colleges to offer an actuarial science degree. As an incoming freshman, I was interested in receiving such a degree due to the caliber of the program and professors."

"My time at Drake far exceeded my expectations. Yes, everyone assumes college will be great but I was pleasantly surprised by how much true community there was at Drake. All my professors knew me and many of them have become my professional colleagues now that I'm continuing my studies and a few are even personal friends. The financial aid is great, J-term and study abroad opportunities are abundant, and you can definitely find a niche. Not great athletics but that's what tv is for."

"I really enjoy the pharmacy program at Drake University. The small school allows for you to make personal connections with your teachers that may not be present at a large university. It also allows you to get really involved on campus and in various organizations, and this lets you develop you leadership skills. The only downside of this program is that it largely focuses on retail pharmacy applications, but I am sure this is prevalent in many other programs as well. Overall, I love the environment and all of the teachers are always willing to help you."

"Drake University is a private, liberal arts, four year university. Known as "the Harvard of the Midwest," be prepared to put in more work than your friends at public universities. However, you will receive a top notch education and a degree from a prestigious school. My one complaint is that I wish there was more diversity, however the diverse students on campus form very close knit groups to support each other."

"Drake University provides an opportunity to network and collaborate with individuals who currently work within the field or seeking. My classmates were all working professionals seeking their masters. I was able to land a internship and a job through networking with my classmates. Drake University is a great place if you like working in teams and having real life application to your studies."

"College was an immersion into learning, both academically and socially. Even when you think you aren't learning, like when you're headed out to spend time with friends, you are learning how to network with peers."

"College is a place to come into your own. It is your first experience being completely responsible for yourself. It is going to be scary and fun all at the same time. Drake was a great university that was small enough to make you feel safe and secure, while being large enough to still have some anonymity."

"Great school. The campus is neatly contained for easy travel to classes. Really helpful professors and good reputation in pharmacy. Is expensive to go to especially if you have a major that won't pay well after graduation."

"I enjoyed the smaller class size as I was able to get to know others in my classes as well as my professors. I felt as if I could ask any questions or ask for advice at any time. Drake provided a wide range of student activities and traditions. I would like future Drake students to encourage others around them to attend school events (Drake Relays, sports events, comedians, relay for life, events put on by organizations) as they are great ways to network with other students and add to your college experience. The Drake community encourages all students to become leaders in different ways. If you have an idea, try it! I know that Drake has been moving toward an overall safer campus, and I would encourage them to continue this by ensuring ALL students feel safe on or off campus."

"The graduate program provides students with many opportunities to succeed in outside communities. Faculty and staff are committed to ensuring students are prepared to enter life after graduation as confident and capable pharmacists. The only con to the graduate program is that it is expensive, especially after 4 years."

"My experience thus far with Drake's pharmacy program has been wonderful. The college is very well respected locally, which makes finding an internship in the area very easy. It is also extremely beneficial that many of the professors are also working professionals with real life experience in a variety of pharmacy professions."

"Drake is a great school on so many levels--devoted staff, personal support, small class sizes, and tons of student resources. There's a great sense of community and school pride, and unique traditions like the Relays and street painting bring people together."

"The in-class education is of high quality and professors are very talented and qualified. However, many of them are still practicing attorneys, which makes it difficult to access them outside of class sometimes. The requirements of 1st year law students are almost unattainable, but that is to be expected in a law school setting. The career development office is wonderful with very well-connected and knowledgeable staff. Professors and other administrative advisers are very supportive and help students put the difficult law school experience in perspective. Overall, this is a great graduate education program."
