"Evangel University was a great experience. The professors are truly dedicated to teaching students how to be the best in their field, as well as how to be the best individuals they can be. The business programs in particular are very impressive. I learned so much and it really prepared me for my MBA program!"

"Evangel set my on a terrific track for my career in broadcasting - before I even graduated college! The hands-on experience I gained was invaluable and gave me an edge over my peers from larger universities. The nurturing environment was perfect for me!"

"My undergraduate experience was one of many learning curves. When I began college I initially attended The University of Texas at Dallas, it was a large tier 1 funded public university. There were over 20,000 student enrolled there and the academic curriculum was very rigorous. With the large student population, the intense coursework, and the endless extracurricular opportunities it was very easy to become overwhelmed. In addition, to this I played baseball for the university as well. I was able to successfully juggle all of these demands while producing a satisfiable GPA for my first 2 years. I knew however, there was a system that would suit my needs better then that that university was presenting me with. Realizing that I needed change, I transferred to Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Evangel is a small private AGTS university in which there is a population of 2,000 students. The student to faculty ratio suited my needs a lot better and my GPA benefited as a result. There were less distractions and I was able to develop relationships that were equally as important to me. The main lesson I learned in my undergraduate is that you do not want to settle for mediocre results. It is ok to be ambitious and seek what is important to you, your education, and your values. If it means transferring then so be it. There are thousands of schools out there, and I guarantee that there is one that best suits each individual students needs."

"Evangel University is affiliated with the Assemblies of God Christian denomination. It offers hundreds of undergraduate degrees as well as a handful of graduate programs. My time at Evangel was spent entirely in the Behavioral Sciences department, and I found the faculty to be incredibly educated and progressive. My time was spent in Lewis Hall, which is on the North side of campus. I spent my last two years there as a Resident Assistant. I can truly say I met some of my closest friends there, and it was a wonderful stepping stone into the adult world. The campus dedicates itself to supporting you in all areas so as to ensure you have enough time for homework. Overall, your experience at the school will vary depending on your world view. While the behavioral sciences department is more forward-thinking, the administration as a whole is religiously conservative. Some might find this stifling, since the administration maintains a set of rules in reflection of their moral convictions. Thankfully, I had no problem with this at the time. However, I would probably have more problems now. I am older, and my beliefs are more nuanced now."

"Evangel University offers a rigorous and excellent Kinesiology Pre-Physical Therapy degree. The head of the Kinesiology Department and Pre-Physical Therapy Advisor is Dr. K. DPT. Dr. Hardy, as well as the rest of the Kinesiology Department Faculty, assists students in not only their education, but in their futures. The faculty takes serious interest in each student and connects them to the people and the programs they will need for the next step of their journey. The connections and relationships that one builds at Evangel University are essential to success outside of the academic arena and in the job market. The information one learns from the classes in this degree are beyond valuable in preparation for graduate school and successful careers. This department teaches the critical information needed for this degree, as well as how to be knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate clinicians."

"The MOL program at Evangel is tough but rewarding program. Several courses gave me the opportunity to apply the skills and concepts I learned to my real-world employment environment. This is giving me the confidence that I will be able to go even further once I complete this degree."

"I enrolled in the Adult Studies program for a BS in Communication. Evangel has the best instructors on the planet and the teachings are all infused with the Christian faith. I received my degree in May 2014. The only thing I think needs improvement is helping to place the adult students in jobs. Most of the students already had jobs but wanted to pursue a different career path. We thought a degree would automatically open doors for us, but that simply wasn't the case. What the employers want is experience,so my advice is to have a company in mind that you want to work for and do your internship there, (after you have researched them thoroughly) don't just pick any company to satisfy the internship requirement. Also, make sure there are jobs in the field you are pursuing, and in the area in which you want to reside."

"Evangel University is a place where one can expect to receive a thorough and in-depth education. The professors are not only knowledgeable in their fields of study but also genuinely care about the well-being of their students and instilling in them the key elements they will need to succeed in the future. I highly recommend Evangel University solely on the basis that it is stocked with an outstanding group of faculty and staff."
