"I am graduating soon from The Masters of Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration Major. It was rough because I will exceed or meet the State of Florida CPA Candidate requirements by all known rules. I was worth it. Thank-you, Everest University (FMU)!!"

"This school makes it seem like they are setting you up so success but it's all a scam. I was liked to from the beginning, told I would get a bachelor's degree in 1.5 years. I fell for it and signed up, that's when they told me it was actually an associates and it would take 2 years. My student advisor repeatedly ignored my request to take as many classes as possible so I could graduate as early as possible and there were some semesters I would only take one class. 3 years later i finally finished my final semester just to be told, oh yeah we forgot you have to take one more class to graduate and you'll have to pay $1700 cash since one class isn't covered by financial aid. I took the class, paid the money and was told I was .02 gpa shy of the requirements to graduate and I would need to take more classes. After 3 years and $20K I finally had enough and dropped out. This school is a scam and their degrees are worthless, none of your credits transfer and they'll probably cancel your program before you graduate."

"They are awful to deal with. I was told I was going to graduate, they even sent graduation documents out and to my student loans. Then told I had more classes before I could graduate. Then the class I needed wasn't offered, so they dropped me. I went to re-enroll and they "don't offer the masters program anymore". So basically I got screwed out of all of my money and my credits, because if I am to transfer to another school they only allow you to transfer about 9 credits. This school is awful."

"My first year at Everest was great. I felt like I was accomplishing my goals. Even though the fees were pretty high I continue with a grade point average of 3.2. Now when the second year came around, I was enrolled in the Accounting class and was leave without any help to take the class due to technical issues. And like I found out from others they just passed you around pretending to be helpful but never getting anything solved. Oh did i mention; I was never able to get in touch with my instructor after calling, email and chat. Do go to this school at all. If you ignore the reviews you will be sorry, just like I am."

"Hello, My name is Donald. I started Everest University back in 2013 to get my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, However under the old Corporate Office the school wasn't that great they say I owe them money when I didn't and they charge outrages for tuition of almost 475.00 per credit hour it seemed like. Now, Everest gotten rid of the Associates degree program and kept the bachelors degree program I continued and Now since the new cor prate office took over it seems like it's a lot better. The tuition is cheaper, I haven't had to many problems with the instructors, student service advisers etc, Now, the only complaint I have is that if they can get better accreditation then what they have because there is some schools that i wanted to transfer to won't accept there credits or only accept some of them. I haven't gotten my degree yet but everything is looking good for me getting it really soon... :) will I come back.... Possibly"

"I started of in the associates program maintained a 4.0 and got my degree. I proceeded into the bachelors program and it continued to ride smooth. It was getting close to graduation and they decided to send me a email stating that I pay them 5,000 dollars before April 22, 2016 or they will expel me. My world was crushed. They advised me to pay 1,500 dollars and they will put me in the next term. While they were getting money out of me, they did not tell me until it was time to enroll again that they were not teaching this class no more. They did not even give me the courtesy to tell me that I will not be able to enroll in the August 22nd term. Never again this school should even have the privilege to be on tv lying to people. They take our money and then throw you to the wolves."

"I study medical billing & coding, I really enjoyed this course. So after I completed and graduated in 2013, I decided to pursue another degree in a different subject. A year into it, I get a call saying the school is closing? So, I dropped out. I never received my Associates degree for the MBIC program?? In other words I wasted 2 1/2 years of my life and nothing to show for it?? Can't get a job because I have no experience??"

"I thought Everest was a great college until I picked up the phone and decided to actually attend. I wished I NEVER made that call. Every week I got a different advisor, barely heard from my teachers, and never received any help when I needed it. I wouldn't recommend this school to any one"

"For the most part, this school was great while I attended for my A.S. I got my A.S. in accounting in July 2014. The teachers were very interactive and I learned so much. I hated accounting and never felt like I was the best at it. However, I figured it'd make a decent backup for my career in the future. So, I stuck with it and the professors and other staff really made me feel like it was worth it. I graduated with a 3.95 GPA. I even joined their student advisor program and got to help other students which I loved. I felt like Everest was going to be a great experience for me. So, when I graduated with my A.S. in accounting and wanted to move to a Bachelor's degree in computer science, I decided to go with Everest again. However, this is where things went seriously downhill for me with this school. After I went through the whole enrollment process to get my new degree (I switched majors because I felt it better suited me over accounting), I was excited for my first term. I didn't do bad in my first term of computer science, but I didn't do great either. However, my professors in my second term lacked everything that my accounting professors provided me with. They weren't helpful at all. It was always difficult to reach them. I worked hard and still failed my courses. I don't blame the professors completely though - computer science ended up not being for me. So, I finally changed my major one more time - to criminal justice. However, I didn't want to continue with Everest. I was burnt out on Everest after the experience I had with the computer science professors. The transition out of Everest seemed easy. I got unenrolled and went on the search for a new university. This is when Everest really lost all my respect. Apparently, after unenrolling, they failed to put the information into the system. So, when the new term started, Everest assigned me the classes I'd failed to take again and even managed to get the loans and grants without my permission. I had no idea I was still enrolled - I was never informed of anything. So, since I didn't attend classes, they expelled me and my grants and loans were reneged. This left me owing Everest $1500 directly for that term - classes I never even took. I didn't know this until I tried to enroll into another school. When I tried to enroll into another school, they tried to retrieve my official transcripts from Everest. Everest refused to release them because of my debt to them. So, until I pay Everest the $1500, they're going to hold my transcripts hostage. But from what I understand in applying to other schools, they won't take enough of my credits to even count. So, I'm sat here thinking "What was the point?" Everest has had a huge lawsuit against them. They do so many of their students wrong and it's not helping anyone. They'll do whatever it takes to make a dollar. Kudos to anyone who actually got through Everest with a good experience and was actually able to get a job with their degree. Because I sure haven't. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to retake all my basic classes and deal with the extra expense. Needless to say, I'll be doing a lot more research when I start college again. Please, I beg you, stay away from Everest if you want to get an education that's actually worth your money. I could have saved $27,000 and been in the same exact position I'm in now. All I have to show for that money is a pretty piece of paper."

"My program was very hard and it required a lot of focus. I am very pleased with my knowledge I received from my professors, because most of them were either in the field of study or teaching at other colleges and universities. This program give me an opportunity to expand up my writing skills and to focus on being responsible whether in a classroom setting or online. However, it is more difficult to stay focus when working on line. The criminal justice masters program is a great program, but requires a lot of time and effort. Everest is just as good or even greater than any other college. The materials and lesson mirrors other major universities. Hard work pays off."

"This school is more worried about the money than the students. Most schools allow you to choose your classes but, when you go online, they pick your classes. If you fail them you still pay the same amount for them even if you have the books. Student advisers changes every few months sometimes weeks. $50.000 + and I ended up dropping out because I spent more money trying to pass classes than getting my degree. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!"

"I am attending Everest University online. When i started out i was going for my Associates degree for Criminal Justice but they changed it to where you have to get a Bachelor's degree for my field. I have to have 192 credits for this college to get a degree. I am currenlty at 86 credits and owe 35,000.00 in student loans. I still have nine terms left to get my degree, Why i am still there is because 60% of the schools that i have contacted won't take credits from the college, 30% of the schools i contacted will only take between 8 - 24 credits and the 10% of the other schools or more expansive. The only good thing that the new company took over them is it decreased the tuition a little. Instructors is OK. The ad visors and student aid reps don't help at all. They lie. They don't contact you if there is a problem and when you call them if there is a problem you get the run around. According to there policy they are suppose to email or cal you back with in 72 hours of your email or phone call. I emailed my student adviser and program lead and student aid rep two weeks later.. NO RESPONSE>> Find a different college."

"It was great I learned a lot at Everest and now I am working towards my Bachelor's in business management To the future students here at Everest they make everything easy for you to understand such as how the online classroom is setup my 3 year is so advance he can work the classroom. Everest walk you through all the steps it take to get you enrolled in school. Don't get me wrong it's a few things Everest could work on for example giving students debit cards for our financial aide money, and they also could give us picture ID badges like other online schools. But overall Everest is a great school to attend."

"The studies in the degree I was going for did not pertain to what I wanted or needed, the faculty and student advisers are just as worthless as the curriculum they have for the degrees they offer. Their classes are very remedial and very little, if anything, you learn will give you the tools you need or provide the training you need to get the career you want. Their biggest selling point is the number of people that get a degree and that you need a degree to show potential employers...I say that its important to have the right training so that you can be a useful resource for potential employers...With very little effort and research you can find the same classes and training they offer at very little or no cost to you...do not enroll at Everest, they are only concerned with making a profit not your education and it shows on their site and software...if you can cover the cost of attending this school, you would be better off putting this money in an IRA or purchasing a house because you would just be throwing this money away for absolutely nothing."

"I attend Everest University online for my bachelors and Master degree. Most people attend online classes believing that it would be easier than sitting in a class. Well people it is not. Financial aid is not part of the school. The school it self is good and one must read, study and complete all courses. I noticed how people submit late, do not complete the assignment that was requested and do not check their work. One can not think they are going to past if they do not complete the required work given, at times I wanted to cry because the work was hard but school is not easy it was designed to make a person read, gain knowledge and understand the work. Please do not blame the school blame your efforts in what you put into the school. I had the same issue with financial aid and there is no communication with financial aid and the school. The school submits what is required financial aid is support to calculate and keep accurate information on each student. I have learned a lot from just reading and asking questions, that is what school is about."

"I started Everest in April of 2012. My first 8 months were great. Services were amazing and someone was always there when I had questions. In about October I started having problems with my account balance. The loans would always get returned to sender but Everest would still send me an overpayment check. I didn't notice until loan collectors started contacting me about paying the school. I would then call the school and they would say it was a misunderstanding. Eventually it got fixed and I would just continue with my classes but it always puzzled me. Fast Forward to October of 2014 and the same thing happened again with my loans this time nobody would answer their phones. Student services would hang up on me. Financial aid when be unforgivingly rude when I asked questions about it. I called nearly everyday from October 18th to this day and the issue hasn't been resolved. I have already graduated and received my diploma in the mail but nobody is helping with my situation and I have been on top of it 3 month prior to graduation. Now I have been informed that Everest has been bought out by Zenith Education group, my sister was enrolled for business and found out because of this they are dropping her program so she had to withdraw from school, I found out that Everest wasn't an accredited school which may make it hard for students to transfer credits. I believe it's a bunch of bull crap and it needs to be handled. I am now 22,000 dollars in student loans when I was told the most would be 14,000 for 2 years and nobody can explain why. Everest University also promises job placement but ha anyone called and followed up with me? No! I have to call and every time I do, I have been placed with a different advisor and have to repeat the process all over again. It's ridiculous. The instructors were WONDERFUL, and the classes were too. They focused on exactly what I needed to know. That was probably the only thing Everest did right."

"The employees at Everest have always been extremely helpful and prompt throughout the two years I attended. If I ever needed help in a class I always received a reply from the instructor within 24 hours. My student advisors were always easy to contact and would answer all my questions or find someone who could. I never had any problems with student loans. It was expensive but all schools are, and it was my responsibility to know what I was spending. I learned a lot because I put a lot of effort into my studies and used the resources given to me. There are plenty of tutor programs for those who need extra help. I requested my transcript and received it within two weeks. I feel that earning my associates degree through Everest met its objectives."

"I understand the complaints from other students and everyone must respect their reviews, because they were affected for sure. I received my Associates in 2011 and Everest found me a job within my field of studies. They emailed my resume to several agencies and I was contacted. Interviews were conducted and I was hired. Everest helps a lot , if you have high scores and of course when you completed your degree. Employeers ask for a two-year college degree and if you only have completed four terms of eight, what do make you think that you are going to be hired only with four terms completed? Also, the U S. High education programs are a huge business. So, do not expect other schools to accept prior credits from other institutions, because then they will not make any profits at all. Campus education and online environments will provide the same materials to learn. The only difference is that in a campus your answers will be addressed probably right away, while in online you will have your answer within 24 hours. Also, online classes require wst more writing and you must participate in order to be graded and keep your financial aid with an average score 2.5 or higher based on your degree. Your diploma is a requirement. You will achieve your real knowledge and skills while you are performing your job duties ( hopefully related to your degree). Fortunately, I have received professional assistance from my school and instructors. I'll finish my BS in 3 months and I'll start my Master's in October, 2015. Good luck everyone and the results, assistance needed, and grades only can be achieved by you and your willingness to push others when assistance is needed & how you are achieving your own objectives."
