"I love going to Everest,it is the ideal school for someone that is not working. I get my Pell Grants distributions on time. Sometimes they maybe late but that is due to the fact that the school starts a new semester and they have to wait to see if you are going to continue to go before they send you money that you do not deserve. I love going to Everest, my grades are as follow>>> 3.85 and the classes are fun. I started last year in Oct.2012 I will be finished this year in 12/2013 if I continue to take 4 classes. So it has to be pretty easy if I am taking 4 classes after my first semester right.... Try it you will love it. The people that are making these hanyous accusations about the school, I really believe you just could not handle the work. I know these people are not just gonna take your money, because that would be against the law."

"I have read many of the reviews regarding Everest University Online and overall, I concur with most of them. In order to have a positive experience with Everest, a great deal of that is up to the student. It is what you make it. It requires research and commitment can tell, the negativity on here is due to a lack of both.I have been pursuing my Associate's Degree in Paralegal studies and have maintained a 3.975 GPA, maintained standing on the President's List, and membership in the National Society for Collegiate Scholars. Much of this would not have been possible without the support I received from my advisors and professors at Everest. Again, I truly believe a person a student's satisfaction is up to them.Remember, work does not come before success in the dictionary either."

"I attended Everest University Online from 2010-2012, I enjoyed the experience that came along with this school. The only not so good thing about Everest was the running around in the fianicial aid dept.I received my degree in October 2012 in Medical Billing Coding and Insurance. If they could get it together in the fianicial aid deptI would highly recommend this school.Hard work is a must at any college you must apply yourself to be successful in anything in life."

"I really don't understand all of the negative reviews on here. After reading through almost all of them, it's funny to see the pattern between the horrible grammar and elementary school-style spelling from their respective authors.I, for one, have been attending Everest University since May of 2010. I received my Associate's in Marketing in July of 2012 and began the Bachelor's program (International Management) within two weeks of my graduation date. I have been a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, President's List, Dean's List, etc. since the time I began my education at Everest. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.87 GPA and I can honestly say that the reason being is because I worked non-stop. Something tells me that a lot of these negative reviews are just a method for under-achievers to justify why they invested in their education when they weren't mature enough to take it seriously. I work full time and am the care taker of a parent, which takes up a dramatic amount of my time, but I still managed to spend innumerable nights studying to get the grade.I always felt like I was learning pertinent information and my instructors (all of them) were unbelievably active in the discussions. There was NEVER a time when I could not get in touch with an instructor or a student service representative. The financial aid office was a hit or miss, but only due certain individuals. I always received my check on time and I spoke to people who offered me all of the information I needed or wanted. My admissions representative was wonderful and all of the instructors were more than accommodating. So for everyone who's reading this and thinking "OK, what's the catch? How can this person be praising the school when others are detesting it?" the answer is simple - YOU HAVE TO PUT THE WORK IN! This school(like any other) is only a good experience if you make it a good experience.I don't regret applying to the school because I've had three years so far to dedicate my time and I have received much deserved academic returns from it.If you're not the type of person who can dedicate a couple of days a week to do work then you're not ready to look into school at all. Otherwise, I would recommend this experience."

"I have been a student at Everest University online since Apri l6 2012 and I will recieve my first degree in April 2014 in Criminal Justice.Everest is a good online school for anyone that applies themselves to their career.. I had no issues with my financial aid, I got my books on time, I have been on the Dean's list since I have started school..If you are serious about career, you wouldn't have a problem with this school.. It's what you make it. This is college and not high school.I have never had any problems except for financial aid.. this is were they need to hire new people because, they can get things twisted sometimes. But all in all,it's a good school."

"I recently graduated from Everest with a B.S. degree in Business Marketing, I had the desire to get my Masters from them as well...this is where the problems started. When speaking to my advisor I was told "no problem" but once I graduated I was told I had a balance of almost $10,000, not a word of it before graduatation. I was told than that my "new Loan" would cover this and my masters as well..ok I'm still interested.I was than told that my GPA was .5 a point to low for the Masters program, I suggested that I retake a class I had failed and I had wondered why I was not informed my GPA was in trouble, State school put you on probation until it improves. I was told to just take the GMAT . I recieved no mpratical help in finding a acreer, a job for $10 hr is not a career and it does not pay for a 4 year degree. My advise is STAY AWAY!!!!!I wish I copuld talk to anyone wanting to further there education and tell them to Not go to Everest. I cannot even get financial aid to return my calls, they just turned me to a collection agency while I was speaking to them about solutions. Average education and very shady in there practices."

"I have been attending this school for a,most 2 years at the time of this review. Every time I have ever had a problem, I received help in a timely manner. The staff is great and the classes were fun. I would be more than glad to attend another course if they offered anything else I was interested in. I graduate with honors in January 2013, if the school wasn't great, how could I do that? I couldn't."

Not professional at all! I would not recommend this college."

"This school will be the perfect pick for a full-time mother that has to work and other obstacles in your life. I have been attending this school for 2 years now and just finished for my Associates in Criminal Justice. I am currently going back for my Bachelors in Criminal Justice. All the bad and negative reviews are a joke because I believe those are the ones that really need to take a better look in the mirror. Education is education, this is not high school, so that being said "Be Grown" and stop blaming others that are trying to help you expand your knowledge. If is was a joke or scam they would not receive any government funds as far as financial aid such as Fafsa or you wouldn't be able to claim the student status when doing your taxes. Everest is not about money because I have not been contacted one time about money. I have had all types of job requests but I want to continue my education for my family and I.Everest University you are the best!"

"First off, take a closer look at the individuals posting negative reviews about this school. NONE of them can even spell correctly! Second of all this is my fourth year at Everest Online and I will receive my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice in January. I have had no problems whatsoever with this school.I always received my checks on time and the courses were wonderful. The instructors (most of them) are very helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years with Everest. Ive maintained the President's List the entire time I have been with Everest. The course are easy to understand and follow."

"I have been attending Everest for about 2 years now. I haven't run into an problems that would change my opinion about the school, just some of the people they employ. Overall, I have got a lot of help form this school, the instructors and the other employees that I've talked with.I have been to two other colleges other than Everest and Everest fits my very busy life extremely well. When I call for a simple question, the people I talk to are very friendly and helpful. I am attending to obtain my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and I feel that I am getting my moneys worth. I have noticed that the more time and effort i put into learning not just about the course i am taking but also by asking about my future career choices etc, the better the experience has been for me and those who i've recommended to the school as well."

"The coursework was made fun and in a way to be embedded into my head instead of memorizing to pass. The learning tools I found most helpful were the LIRN Library and Smartthinking. I have had a lot of positive interactions with classmates and have had nice open discussions in which I learned a lot from their point of view. All of my instructors have been awesome and even given me quotes to be remembered for my journey through my degree. My overall experience has been fantastic, my advisors to the instructors have been awesome in helping me attain my goals and degree which I am now continiuing.Anytime I have had an issue or concern they have always returned my calls right away and have helped with a solution. I have been a part of the NSCS, Presidents LIst and International Laureate Program, as well as the Ignitor Ambassador program which helps the new students adjust and get mentoring they need."

"I transfered to Everest University Online. I already had my Associates Degree from and ABA accredited paralegal program and wanted to work on my BS Paralegal.I did not receive ANY credits for the paralegal courses I had already taken and the first session is already over and they still have not figured out my financial aid... how hard can it really be?Everyone I talked to told me something different about my financial aid and I jumped through hoops to accomplish the tasks they told me needed accomplished only to be told that I didnt really need to do it in the first place. VERY frusterating experience. I will be transferring to Kaplan University Online."

"I went to this school for about a year and a half! I tried medical billing and coding and homeland security! This is the WORST school ever!!!!! They say you can earn your degree on your own time! Ha yeah right! I have two young children and can not get online every day to go to class so they dropped me from the school! They are now saying I owe them a ridiculous amount of money because they failed to turn in the papers on their end for my financial aid! I am a single mother of two and should have had my schooling paid for but no now I have so much debt all because they couldn't do their part! DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS SCHOOL! They are scammers and charge you double even triple for books and courses!!!"

"I started at Everest Online this year. I'm a single working mother. I work a full time job that has rotating shifts. Fitting in a scheduled time to be in class was not an option for me. I have made the dean's list. My instructors always replied to my questions within a few hours. They were very supportive if I needed help. Their Student Services also helped me in areas that were not school related. I received calls to check up on me and to just say your doing a good job. Keep it up. The platform was easy to understand and access."

"I am in the Nursing Program and I feel that this school is not equipped to teach Nursing students. I have had rough bad experience at this school, but im going to try to keep moving foward as much as possible bc ihave so many loans out its crazy. I would reccomend going with a school whos had Nursing Experience for 10 years or more. The Nursing staff is okay but IĀ feel that its too expensive and there not teaching what you need to know to graduate. for example there is a day program that is about to graduate they started with 30 students and now only have 18 graduating theres something wrong with that picture they should have there students ready and prepared to be an RN is what there goal should be. And if you want to come back you have to wait for another rotation if theres room. Meanwhile your stuck waiting and paying the bill."

"I have been with Everest Online since May of 2010 and have always been on the A+ honor roll with a 3.67 GPA and let me tell you I have had more trouble out of this school than any other thing in my life period. It started out good where my advisors would call me and checkup on how I was doing it was going really well then all of a sudden I stopped getting phone calls I stopped getting help from my advisers then they started switching them in and out I am week 8 of 12 before I graduate and haven't heard from career services once.I was promised an externship when I enrolled in school and a year later they changed the program and no longer offer them but I wasnt told until a year and half into my degree. If you are just starting i suggest you research more into local schools where you can get different grant money from your state paying $30K for this education is not worth it!"
