Degree: Project Management

Everglades University has a structure that is accommodating to students who are adults, work full time, have families and additional life responsibility. The academic structure of one class every two months works great with my schedule. The online library and research tools for academic databases is extensive. It is so helpful not having to stress out when it's time to write a paper because of lack of information and resources. The professors create a personalized environment with individual student... I feel like the classes aren't challenging enough. They all seem to be the same thing just a different subject; write discussions, take tests, write an essay and/or journals that don't even seem to get read just a random score assigned, mine are usually good but, no feedback is given most of the time as to how to better construct the research or anything. I'm not even sure at the time I go to graduate school if my research paper skills will be sufficient enough. Also the 'online library' is a piece... Read More

Worst school ever. I did 3 years and drop it because it was expensive. For what they are offering is not worth going to. Far in the middle of no where. Small campus yes. But the rest was unorganized and charging me for redundant things. Didn't explain my fees and how much I had to pay. Just don't go. It's not worth it .

Everglades is a great school! I have been there for a year and a half and have learned so much, not just knowledge but life skills too. The staff is very friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are. There is always a smiling face waiting to help. I have two more years of this school and every moment is treasured.

Everglades University is small college with a family-like feel to it. Thus far, the administrative staff has been extremely helpful and thorough in helping me with financial aid and choosing my classes. The work requires a lot of focus and effort, however with small class sizes, the teachers have had more time to help their students succeed in their degree. I am very happy with this school and would recommend it to anyone.

Great school and great faculty. Enjoyed learning and growing with other students that shared my same interests and experiences. Online classes were challenging and engaging. Learning at your own pace while having to work 50+ Hours per week was a plus. Instructors presented real world experience and feedback.

I work 45-50 hour weeks, have a two year old, and married; I work for an Engineering firm, which requires me to travel. During my time at EU the staff, deans, and teachers have all assisted me through the entire way making it possible for me to maintain 4.0 CGPA. Since, the cost I pay is a large investment, I take ever opportunity to gain as much as I can from the textbooks and the classes. It has served me greatly at work. I believe your experience will depend on your motivation to succeed and get... Read More

I started the Alternative Medicine program through Everglades University in July of 2016 and I would definitely NOT recommend this to anyone. I asked to switch to the Science Track at the VERY BEGINNING of the semester (two days in), I sent an email to my Academic Advisor, to which she responded she would process it accordingly and change my classes to the ones required for that program. Next thing I know, I'm put into the wrong class, there's no way of withdrawing from classes on your student portal... Read More

No complaints on material. All complaints on staff. Two months ago, I spoke with 2 staff members, one being Michele Vermigliano, and the other I can't remember her name, but I made mention of withdrawing from classes after my current semester. I was told, byt Michele, classes ended in OCT, come to find out classes begin in OCT and since I entered the beginning class of the semester and not the ending, i own an extra semester and I had to call them again to remind them I wanted to drop even after... I enjoyed by experience at Everglades. My instructors pushed me and supported me every step of the way. I received contact from my Program Director on a regular basis. I learned so much from my instructors and have put that knowledge to use in my current profession. I would recommend Everglades to anyone looking for a quality education from a team that cares about your success.

I am in the Alt. Med. program and it's okay, but there's a lot of disappointment in this school. First off, the professors aren't dedicated to your success. Secondly, all they want is your money, it's all about that, money, money, money and that's pathetic. It's listed as non-profit that's a hunk of junk though. It's outrageous for a small commuter University and not worthwhile for the amount of tuition they charge. On the contrary the campus is really pretty though!

Although Construction Management is one of EU's best Programs, I am very dissatisfied with my education here. I felt that my courses were bogus being incredibly ill material and that my professors have been careless to my questions of concern that I presented to them time after time. I don't feel appreciated as a student due to the lack of constructive criticism to the least on any of the work. It's a horrible school.

I started my Alternative Medicine program in 2014. The admissions process was easy and well put together. However, the financial aid office was a mess. I was using my GI Bill. I had some difficulties and had to with draw from the program, that went without a hitch. I got my act together and went to re-enroll and they waived my reentry fee. They had me speak with FA and the gentleman that was in there was a vet and understood what need to be done. The class are fast but informative. You get out of... Read More

This School is a joke. If you have ever been to a traditional junior college or University you will be able to see that this is truly a waste of time. School is suppose to be exciting and challenging in the learning curve but the admissions process and financial aid were more stressful than the actual program in general. And on top of all of it, It is very expensive to go hear. Do not waste your time there are many online programs this is not a top rated school. I am a current student so this is... Read More

I attended Everglades for the Master's in Aviation. I had previously attended ERAU for my Bachelor's but decided to attend Everglades based on the cost difference. The staff were just as experiences with several professors coming from a military or professional aviation background. The coursework and outcome met my expectations and I am happy to be an alumni.
