"I completed my Bachelor's through the Degree Completion program online. It was a wonderful program. The instructors, though online, were very helpful and there to guide you if you needed. My advisor guided me every step of the way to make sure that I had all the credits I needed to graduate on time. Though pretty much all of my courses were online, I was required to attend a couple of exams either on campus or at a satellite campus. There is a satellite campus conveniently located in Statesville which is only about 30 minutes away for me. The option of completing the program entirely online was very important to me as I am a single mother working full time. I did not have the time to take away from my then young children to sit in the class room in the evenings and could not afford to not work a full time job. I was so pleased with the university, the programs, and the ease of everything from registration to ordering books, that I am now completing my Master's with Gardner Webb as well."

"I truly enjoyed my time at Gardner Webb University. It was for me definitely a great choice and also a good fit. I attend classes mostly at both the main campus and I also took some classes at the Charlotte campus. The quality of education I received was definitely one I am proud. I have experienced a high quality of success in my work life and continue to build on the solid foundation I received at Gardner Webb. Gardner Webb encourages work in and giving back to the community. There is a genuine desire to encourage the building of relationships between the school, the faculty, and students. I was required to serve and attend events each semester, within my field of study out in the community, which served me well in bring my class room work to life in a real world setting. The intimate setting allows you to not be or feel overwhelmed. The school works very hard at providing fun activities for the students on campus on a regular basis. Gardner Webb has exceeded my expectations as I stated above it was a good fit for me. They are exactly what they represent and if your personal mission is not a good match with the school, it is probably not the place for you. If however, you check out the website and are intrigued, then I would definitely visit the campus and see what the school has to offer. I would recommend my Alma Mater to anyone especially for its educational offering and mission, Gardner Webb should be seriously considered, even though you might be compromising if you desire a bigger setting. I found giving up the big city component was not a big compromise compared to how happy I was with what I got in term of a great education at Gardner Webb University."

"I strongly recommend Gardner-Webb University for one's advanced education choice. As I attended this college I found it to offer very exceptional classroom instruction. The professors were very knowledgeable in their fields of assignment. They were able to relate real life experience and utilize it in the classroom in the form of teaching. It is a small college but the level of education is quality and comparable to larger scholos."

"Gardner-Webb university campus is a beautiful collection of buildings easily accessible in the heart of Boiling Springs, NC. Like most small towns with college presences, the school is the heartbeat of the town. GW offers plenty of collegiate sports, extra curricular groups, convenient shopping and restaurants. Their focus is student success and academics. Mostly known for their nursing program and School of Business. I had an awesome experience at Gardner-Webb University!"

"This is an excellent school that is growing to accommodate more options for degrees. The teachers have good content knowledge and are willing to assist when needed. The library/ media staff is very helpful. This is not the most affordable option for receiving a doctoral degree."

"This program of study prepared me for my position as a school administrator. Professors were knowledgeable, engaging, and promoted collaboration and critical thinking through assignments and class activities. This program enabled me to graduate from the program prepared to perform the job responsibilities of a school administrator effectively."

"Gardner-Webb University is a small private university in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. I studied history for my undergraduate degree there, and it was an intense yet rewarding program. The tests and exams were rigorous, but I never felt that my history classes were a waste of time, money, or energy. I felt the professors really went above and beyond to connect to their students and give them a quality education. Even the university support staff outside of academics were always very kind, cordial and respectful. I made several lifelong friends at GWU and I would highly recommend it."

"The program is a long program; much longer than many other for the same field, but it is worth it. We have a practicum and two internship experiences to ensure that we get hands-on experience in counseling before going out into the real world. The professors genuinely care for the health and well-being of the students, and from my experience, try hard to create a personal bond with each one of them. The town is small, but you can make very good and close friends there as well. There are even multiple degree options within the counseling school: school counseling, mental health counseling, and a combined divinity and mental health counseling degree."

"Gardner-Webb is a school that I would recommend to anyone, because I have loved my time there. As a history major I am thoroughly satisfied with their history program, as are people I know with other majors. The Christian atmosphere is another positive, although several of the students are not Christians and still find themselves welcomed. I love the "small school" aspect of it, because it is more personal that way, the professors care about us, and everyone is genuine. Student life offers many opportunities, and the campus is beautiful. The only downside that I know of is the high tuition, but that comes with any private school, and there are also various scholarships that are offered. I enjoy being able to say that I am a student at Gardner-Webb. My experience so far has been better than I could have expected, and I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else."

"Some of these areas I can't comment on, because I commute for evening classes and do not live or work in Boiling Springs. The best things about this program include: very friendly, helpful, involved faculty who are truly invested in your success; a general environment of kindness and love at Gardner-Webb; and a very manageable workload in the program that has made me feel challenged and encouraged to think for myself, yet not overwhelmed. The one thing so far that hasn't been completely satisfying for me is the lack of diversity in the student body and general mindset of those who attend the school. Most students appear to adhere to traditional, conservative Christian values, and it seems that the few students I've met who don't fit this mold feel somewhat alienated. Having said that, there is nothing hateful or condemning about the atmosphere at GW; literally everyone I've encountered at the school has been friendly kind, and courteous."

"I am in the Dual Degree Program for Divinity and Mental Health Counseling. I enjoy both aspects of my program thoroughly, I was just a little discouraged with how long it will take me to complete. I feel like I was told one thing when I applied, and that in reality, it will take me longer than originally told. I do love the fact that students are given the option to take night and online courses for some classes. Professors and faculty are genuinely nice, and many try to help out as much as they can. We are truly a community at Gardner-Webb!"

"Gardner Webb is an excellent educational establishment to further your career and knowledge. the staff works with you along every aspect of the application process. The only thing that is a bit frustrating is the one option of a payment plan. As an educator I am always readjusting my paycheck to meet the needs for the month. I wish that I was able to either have a discounted tuition due to my career or be able to spread the balance over more than three payments."

The admissions process is very teacher-friendly and I would recommend this program for any teacher looking to begin a career in School Administration."
