Degree: Paralegal
Graduation Year: 2012

I signed up with them thinking I would be able to go to court and pursue my career after paying $3000.00 for school , only to find out once I was done paying that the diploma wasn't accredited in Hamilton, Ontario which is Canada and on the website says it IS .They knew of this this but yet lied to me and probably thousands of more, if they were fair and a legit school they would have reimbursed us half at least of our tuition . Think this school is a rip off so i suggest actually going to the one that doesn't scam people and replies back when people send emails been years and I'm really upset due to this wrote emails and haven't heard anything back graduated 2012 and its 2017 and I cannot get a job in my field anywhere . Feel like all that time invested and money I LOST and could have had my career if i would have gone here to a local college , Just sad because none cares in regards to this just doesn't make any sense why this school is open still feel like I got robbed from my time and money. Please save you're money and time .

Degree: Creative Writing
Graduation Year: 2016

I do not recommend enrolling in ICS. I was not aware there was an expiry date on my course and was so disappointed to log on today to write an exam and find that I was no longer allowed. My "lesson plan" they have on the site outlined time frames for each course that took me up to the end of the year with no indications that the dates would not work. There was no email send to me to notify me that there was a time limit approaching so I assumed that the dates listed on my study were valid, especially since I was not finished with the payments. I had taken a through them in the 90s before they were with Penn Foster and it was much better. I had planned on taking a couple more courses through them but after this experience I will look at other correspondence courses that will allow me to do the courses on my time and not just state that in the advertisements.

Well I had taken this major and so far its been great. I have found job but again those job have been contracting or temp not permanent position. So let see what well be happening. I have taken the step to upgrade my career too. I would recommended this college to other because most of the people have full time jobs and they don't have time to study. This way they will be able to finished their study and enjoy there personal life.

Degree: Appliance Installation and Repair Technology/Technician
Graduation Year: 2010

I had taken the course after receiving information on it that said it was recognised by all provinces in Canada I also called to verify Alberta as one of them, they assured me it was. They also mentioned you could get started into a business if you wanted or work for a company. At the end of the course upon passing in the 90's they give you a list of suppliers etc. I come to find out that Alberta doesn't recognise ICS online school and neither do employers in Alberta. So I had called them and told them that the course isn't even recognized in Alberta they gave me the big run around and long story short Alberta is the only province not to recognized this school so if you live in the province don't take any of their courses because nobody will hire you and Alberta's regulations for trades is the toughest in Canada even tougher than the U.S and you need a trade certification in Appliance repair by a trade school that's recognized in only Alberta . The course is very good it's just not recognised in all provinces Alberta I know for sure.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2015

Paid nearly one thousand dollars for a single basic book on counseling. Needless to say i should have double if not triple checked what i was getting myself into. The Tuition for this basically useless course is absurdly high, needless to say i got caught in a web of my own excitement and stupidity. Lastly they refused to mail me my completion certificate until the very last dime is paid to them. Do yourself a favor and don't consider wasting money as i foolishly did with this company. I have read some of the negative reviews about ICS Canada and let me tell you students something. ICS Canada is an Accredited correspondence school, not a government/public college or university. As a private organization, they do the best they can to deliver a quality and affordable education which in no way, shape or form, admits you to any government/public college or university. In fact if you are so hung up about going to a public institution, you should have just applied to them directly. Why do you use ICSC or blame them for their lack of so-called recognition by a public institution? They are a private school independent of any government/public entity. -RH

Degree: Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, Other
Graduation Year: 2009

Not a credited School. No University or College in Canada will recognize this school. When I tried to further my education in Business management I was told by the University of Manitoba that I basically spent my money on an expensive piece of paper. Every company I applied for did not credit ICS Canada as a credible school and even one HR personal kind of laughed when I told them I graduated with my Business Management diploma from ICS Canada and told me I should of done my research and gone to a "Real" school. Then asked how much money I spent on the program and when I told them she shook her head and said too bad you can't get your money back. Avoid this school like the Plague.

Degree: Floral Design
Graduation Year: 2012

I had a very good experience with ICS. They supplied the learning materials and even the floral supplies I needed when I took the Floral Design course they offer. The entire process was simple from start to finish. Being a mother of 2, my time was limited so the flexibility they offer was optimal. It took my design career to the next level without a doubt.

Degree: Avionics Maintenance Technology/Technician
Graduation Year: 2004

I was working as an aircraft structures mechanic and wanted to do more on the aircraft and advance my career. So I took the Aircraft Mechanics course and was given two years to complete it. I did it in 9 months, studied hard ever day. It opened doors for me at work. I was allowed to cross train into other aircraft trades and then became an aircraft parts manufacturing inspector. So it has definitely helped me in my career advancement.
