"I recently began classes at Indiana University South Bend and could not be happier with my decision. This will be my 2nd master's degree and I was concerned about having difficulty returning to school after almost a decade of not being in college. Faculty and staff are pleasant and easy to work with and have gotten me on track to achieve the degree I need for my "dream job" as a school counselor."

"I am very pleased with the quality of my educational experience attained at Indiana University -South Bend. Health Services Administration is a field with an ever changing landscape surrounded by political and legal implications. The curriculum offered to achieve this degree prepared me well for the career path I have chosen. It's great to have such a high quality university so close to home."

"Network, network, network! Get involved in as much as you can and get to know your peers. You can always use a great recommendation after your graduate!"

"The Management of information technologies program is dead/dying. They've stopped enrollment into the program. They continually cancel classes which students need to graduate due to low enrollment and thereby postpone the graduation semester for students in the program. The teachers are sub par and the course content is old and out of date. Do not go into this program at IUSB."

"The professors are all top-notch. Regardless of location, this is still an Indiana University campus and the curriculum is extensive and well-rounded."

"IUSB is a fantastic school for someone who wants to live at home and commute to college. Although you won't get the typical College Experience, you save a great deal of money but still receive that college education needed for a great career! IUSB is small campus and class sizes. I like this because I don't get lost in the crowd, like many of my friends are experiencing at other colleges. Even though I don't live on campus, I have gained many friends because many of the students are in the same classes together. They also have a great (free!) work out center, The Student Activity Center that has pool tables, basketball courts, and a gym. This is a great place to hang out and meet new people. The professors at IUSB are very knowledgeable about the subjects that they teach and bring work experience from the area into play too."

"Directionless program. Program Chair and many faculty aren't good at their jobs, don't seem to work hard, make classes up as they go. Courses are out of date for technology."

"I am an international student currently enrolled at IUSB. It's been a helpful place and I have managed to transition into the program. The program has professors and students that are willing to help and help with mapping out my career path. The only thing I would hope for is for there to be more financial help for international students. Those opportunities are not easily available and it has resulted in some students finding it difficult to keep up with their studies."

"I am currently pursuing an MPA degree. The course load I am getting not only looks at the theoretical but allows me to do practical work which allows me to be fully prepared. The faculty is available to work with me and are very helpful and insightful."

"The Master of Social Work program at IU South Bend is quite competitive to be accepted into. Once accepted, the professors and advisers provide the support and guidance necessary for students to succeed. Practical applications are discussed in the classroom, and students are assigned to locations for real life experiences in the social work field. By utilizing both textbook learning and real world learning, students have a firmer grip on what it truly means to have a career in social work. Classes are engaging, and professors keep students interested, while being available outside of the classroom as well. IU South Bend might be a small campus, but the education is huge."

"So far this has been a very positive experience. The workload has progressively increased over the semesters, however it it not excessive and I imagined much worse before beginning classes. I am disappointed in the time and day selection of some of the classes. This is a part time, evening program; yet some of the classes have been scheduled directly in the middle of the work day. For students who work full time, this is a very difficult schedule to arrange."

"I think IUSB is a great option for residents of the area who want and Indiana University degree, but not at the high cost of a Bloomington location. The graduate program is very accessible for those who have a full-time job or those who want to attend full-time classes."
