Iowa State University is a great university that has something for everyone. Even though it is a large school, I was very comfortable getting involved and reaching out to my professors. I was involved in a wide range of activities - there is a club or group for every interest. ISU is a great place to grow and learn on both a personal and professional level.
Great college for studying and field of engineering. Professors are helpful and departments are continually trying to bring in more great faculty members. Campus is beautiful. Enrollment is increasing at a rapid rate and ISU is no longer a small college town.
Loved the campus & all the different activities available. Engineering program is very good. Would like some of the classes to be more hands on & discovery based.
ISU is a great school with so many options to choose from when it comes to degree programs. It can definitely get overwhelming, but if you put yourself out there and ask for help from people, you will receive it. However, if you are looking for a lot of personalized attention from your professors, then you may wish to look into going to a smaller school.
I loved Iowa State. The campus is absolutely beautiful, the administration cares about the student experience, and you just can't beat the people of Iowa. If you want a bargain degree, spend two years at a community college and transfer in. If you want to learn more, you can take four years (or more!) all at ISU. Go Cyclones!
Great state college, gives the full college experience with a great education as well.
I love Iowa State's community-like feel. The people are warm and inviting and the campus is beautiful and state of the art.
Iowa state was a great place to prepare me for my career. I made lots friends and had leadership opportunities with the many groups and organizations on campus.
College is not only a place for learning, but a place to grow up. To learn who you are, what you believe, and how to live on your own. Going to school and being extremely broke taught me to find a way to make it. I look back and I have no idea how I did it, but it gave me the push I needed to know what kind of lifestyle I wanted. I studied hard, made life long friends, and before I graduated I had a great paying job in another city and had bought a house.
Great school and terrific department. Faculty well-versed in every aspect of the science. Beautiful campus.
