Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

Kalamazoo Valley Community College has been a great experience for me. I was enrolled about five years ago but left because I was unsure about my career path. In September 2015 I re-enrolled at KVCC to obtain an AAS as an Administrative Assistant. The courses offered for this degree were informational and skill building. We did many hands on activities and often had guest speakers who would help with guidance and networking. KVCC offers a variety of courses online and in the evening so I was able to go to school full-time with being a single mother.

Kalamazoo Valley is a good value if you are pursuing an Associate's degree to then transfer into a in-state University. However, quality of instruction varies widely by teacher. The campus and classes can be very crowed during the daytime. I like the hybrid classes the most but not many are currently offered. There are many great Community Colleges in Michigan to attend, Kalamazoo Valley is one worth considering.
