Choosing to attend King University has been one of the best choices I have ever made in my life. King is dedicating towards helping their students go beyond what is required while helping students strive for success. I love that I only have to meet for class once a week and I love how King has dedicated their program towards working adults and parents. Each professor that I have had while attending King have dedicated their selves towards helping me grow my knowledge in communication. The professors... Read More

King University’s Communication program is a unique, hybrid program, only requiring one (four hour) on campus class a week. All other assignments are done online. The flexibility of the Communication program is perfect for nontraditional students like myself. Flexibility was a top priority when searching for a bachelor’s program. Core classes in King’s Communication program run for five weeks and there are three core classes per semester. King also offers several electives that can be taken over... Read More

My experience in King University’s online Communication program has been nothing but positive. When I chose to finish my degree online, I was afraid I would be sacrificing the quality of my education for the flexibility of an online degree. However, through King I was able to get my degree while working full time and never felt like I was missing out on a quality education. Classes are in 5-week terms, which seemed stressful at first, but I came to really enjoy. It allows you to focus completely... Read More

The online communications program here at King has been a great experience since the start. I was worried at first that online courses may be tricky when it came to communicating back and forth with the professors when I had questions, concerns, etc., but that has not been the case at all. Every professor I have had has been extremely quick to reply and they all seem to genuinely care about how you do in their classes. I would absolutely recommend this degree path to anyone wanting to learn legitimate... Read More

I transferred into King University as a Junior from a large Knoxville University. I am Communications major and have taken many courses in the communications program. My experience has been great with flexible scheduling, and exceptional professors, such as Dr. Sloan, Professor Rebecca Huckaby, and Professor Cora Young. Our classes were only 5 weeks long. The 5-week courses allowed me, as a working adult, to obtain a degree with great flexibility. Each class has a low student to professor ratio,... Read More

Almost ten years ago today, I began my college entry essay with this statement: “Hello, my name is Cameron Taylor and I am a senior at Richmond Christian School. This fall, I plan to major in mass communications at Liberty University. This degree will help me become a positive influence in my community.” This introduction was as vague as my life plans. Like most high school graduates, I knew very little about college. My parents, teachers, and friends conditioned me to see it as a stepping stone... Read More

I was first presented about King University while attending another institution. I currently attend the satellite campus in Hardin Valley. The great thing about the degree program I'm involved in, is that it offers older students the opportunity to pursue a degree while having a full-time job and managing a family at the same time. This program is very hard to beat and truly worth every moment. I have been able to become a more well-rounded student and individual while attending King. It is very... Read More

I have attended King University for almost one year now and will graduate in a few short months. The transition into King University’s communication program was a smooth process. Anthony Lanagan, Enrollment Counselor at King, was very helpful in guiding me through the application process at King’s Knoxville campus. During my search for an accredited university, I wanted somewhere with flexible hours and that offered an affordable education. King University’s communication program has checked every... Read More

King Univesity is a small school located in beautiful Bristol, TN. The campus is surrounded by mountains and various rivers that you can hike, fish, hunt, or simply enjoy the scenery. As for the communications program, it is completely online with most of the professors located at King's satellite campus in Knoxville, TN. This was the third school I've taken online classes at and the various professors we're all accessible when trying to contact them. I lived several hours away from every professor... Read More

As an adult learner, the Communication Program at King University’s Knoxville Campus has been a wonderful experience. I started taking Business Administration classes at King University, but found my interests leaned more toward the Communication Program. The administration and staff helped me to understand my options and assisted me to transition to a program that I truly enjoy. King University answered a lot of questions I had about myself. Having taken a 4-year sabbatical from my education, I wanted to finally know who I was and where my place in the world should be. For me, that meant I needed to go back to school and finish my degree.
