"An average but excessively expensive University which is known more for its Basketball than its academics. It's a "ye ol test curve" type of grading system. It's in a very violent and dangerous area of Philadelphia. I would never recommend La Salle University in Philadelphia."

"Program is ran by one person who never reaches out or offers help so forget about any advising. If you want to write a thesis and do research go somewhere else. It seems like there is little to on funding for the psych program. The best part of this program was the opportunity to take MBA courses. The people running this program are rude and don't care about when you finish the program."

"La Salle was a great university to attend. The professors in my field were thoughtful and helped you work toward your goals. They were very responsive during office hours or by email. I found the classes to be challenging and interesting. I was a psychology major, but ultimately pursued a career as a PA. My psych background helps me everyday as treat patients. The school itself has a lovely campus, but admittedly it is not in the best area of Philadelphia. As long as you are mindful of your surroundings you should have no issues, and campus security is good if you ever feel unsafe."

"I am currently at Temple University here in Philadelphia, PA pursuing a Master's in Public Policy and expect to graduate May 2018. As a Latino male I have seen a lack of Latinos in elected offices and I hope that with my degree I can break through the glass ceiling and inspire other Latinos here in Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania to run for office. My program here at Temple University has been challenging yet very fulfilling. I have been able to continue to expand my knowledge for politics in a time where many look at politics with a negative connotation. We have been lucky enough to have the Mayor of Philadelphia (Mayor Jim Kenney) come guest lecture along with the Finance Director and many others as they want us to have all the resources available us to have success in the future as we will be the first graduating class of this new program at Temple University. I would like to thank you for considering me and greatly appreciate your commitment to offering scholarships in a time where student loans and debt for our generation has become the norm."

"La Salle houses one of the first marriage and family therapy programs in the nation, and it is one of the largest programs as well. The professors are my favorite part! Their passion for what they do is contagious and inspiring. Every class I have taken has given me the opportunity to learn from professionals who are currently in the field that I want to work in. Many professors have also graduated from La Salle themselves, so they can help you every single step of the way! La Salle also has a great network of internship opportunities and makes sure that their students are prepared to become amazing and successful counselors. I am so happy that I found this program. I graduate in a year and already have three possible jobs lined up!"

"Convenient for Philadelphia suburbs because they have multiple campuses. The program is not great. I learned much more as an Accounting undergrad at another Philadelphia city University. La Salle is also not honest about the "specializations" that they offer. I spent roughly 3.5 years earning my graduate degree part-time from La Salle and in that time, only 1 of the 4 required classes to earn an International Business specialization was offered. The administration is not at all helpful and only about 20% of the professors, that I had, I would recommend. If my company did not pay for this degree, I would not have continued the entire program."

"La Salle is smaller than other schools in Philadelphia. My favorite part of La Salle was the small class sizes and the accessibility to professors. Throughout my 4 years, I did not have a single professor that did not know my name and email. Every faculty member was always willing and happy to provide any help you need. Campus is in a rough area in North Philly. I certainly didn't travel off campus alone, however was comfortable walking on campus after dark. There are several security booths scattered across campus and many emergency call posts. Class sizes and the helpful, caring faculty are definitely the biggest pros of La Salle."

"LaSalle was the perfect school for me! It's not too big and you get to recognize everyone's face. LaSalle Education department is amazing and I felt fully prepared entering the Philadelphia School District immediately after graduation. I would absolutely recommend LaSalle to any aspiring educator!"

"It's was a great experience. It was a very service oriented school. It instilled a since of community in me. I was able to view myself in a global light through travel opportunities as LGU minor. There was always a place for me at La Salle I felt included but also connected to others through our multicultural organizations. My time a La Salle has instilled a passion in me to serve those that are less fortunate."

"I feel it gave me a lot of good information and provided good training for my future profession. I did not, however provide a lot of structure and support I feel it needed to fully prepare people for my chosen profession"

"Nice personalized environment with faculty. Is good if you are excited to learn and want classes that are not too big. Give out some scholarships but base tuition is about average. Inconvenient location if you want to go out around Center City. Could offer better internship relationships with companies."

"I enjoyed the Communication Department at La Salle. I also ran Track. I think it helps to belong to an extra-curricular at this school, as most students were part of a sports team or fraternity/sorority. I thought La Salle did a good job at preparing me to get a career. I did feel that it was very much of a "suitcase" school - I would also pack up and head home on the weekends. It is a very small school, which is also something to take into consideration. If I had to do it over again, I would probably go elsewhere. But, I do recommend their Communication program."
