Attending the campus in Paramus NJ, I have found that, while all the teachers are very good. A vast majority grade completely unfairly, making up work as they go along and completely BSing their way through classes. They're all very knowledgeable, but most lack common courtesy and they willingness to actually teach what they know. If you attend this school, which I don't recommend, know that you'll be graded almost solely based upon how much the teachers like you, not what you know or how much effort you put into learning the material.

I graduated a long long time ago. 1978 from Union, NJ campus for Automotive. I always bragged how great this school was and the good times I had there. I just stumbled on this site of reviews (nearly all bad) because I was simply looking for Lincoln Tech phone number so I could retrieve my transcripts for continued college today. I'm shocked!!! Though almost no bad reviews were for my school campus, I'm still shocked. I didn't work in the automotive field very long but the knowledge I gained and friends I made are priceless. I just had to add this among all the bad reviews. I have to say something else that will pizz some people off. Sorry I don't mean to but the truth is, the spelling and grammar and overall poor writing by many of the review writers are despicable. If I were an employer and you used "there" to describe personal ownership rather then a place, or use "ur" cause you're too lazy to write 2 more letters to spell it properly, or failure to even use capital letters to start your sentence, would be grounds for any employer to file your resume in the "G" file. I have no advice in choosing a school for anyone. I chose LT for it's awesome reputation long before we had computers to google reviews.

This School is a joke, I'm Near Graduation and I still Haven't got that much hands on experience, Only classes that I got hands on where automatic trans and gasoline and engines, besides that nothing plus this school all they care about is the money, I was absent for a week because of health issues and they call me demanding me to come back to school saying there going to Fail me or kick me out, And the main director is an ass, So before you spend about 20k on this School think about what your going to get out of this and don't waste your time and money. P.S Don't fail for the coUnsolers b.s its just a scam.

This school is absolutely horrible, no one cares about the students and for thirty thousand dollars I expected a quality school when there's an emergency they help immediately no instead they make you wait and dont help and tell you jokes like hitchhike or call the tow truck now. I'm not the only one that went through this type of problem many times the schol has abandoned kids that attend the school that cant make it home because their CAR doesnt work when we go to a school to FIX cars. Terrible place

The reviews on the LPN program at Lincoln Tech are false. It is not the school's fault if you do not have good study skills & cannot keep up - their job is to teach you, not hold your hand & pass you. I have a BA in psych and then did my LPN as a second career, graduating in 3/2012 with a 3.7 GPA. Passed my NCLEX the first time with flying colors & found an LPN job in 3 weeks. The school is willing to help you find jobs after graduating/taking the NCLEX. The exit exam was significantly harder than the NCLEX, so I feel I was very prepared. In the field, I have the knowledge of a BSN-RN, and I owe LTI for that. They prepare you for REAL NURSING WORK & don't hold your hand through it.

No Complaints!!

I graduated 10/97. My class was 100% employed at the finish of school. I took employment at a company installing semi-conductor equipment. I traveled around the world for 5 years and made 72k after 5yrs. I then was offered a job at a nuclear power plant as a Nuclear Instrumentation and Controls Technician. I now make 135K a yr. I def recommend this school to anyone!! If you have complaints about this school or about getting a job after words. I highly find out that the people that complain don't try and find a good job. I know of about a dozen people, personally, that went to LTI and they haven't done anything with there career or there degree. I found it very easy to make something of myself with this experience that I received at LTI. Good Luck to all that have this great opportunity!!

This school is a scam. I enrolled for Feb 18th but got several red flags before actually committing. First red flag, I go to financial aid and they try to make me make payments while I will be attending school there even though I previously told them I wasn't employed. Mind you this was after she had told me I had the maximum "grants and loans" that I would be able to obtain. So my tuition was 19k with 2k having to come out of my pocket, I wouldn't possibly be able to pay that without a job. I later sent them an email stating that I would like to enroll next semester so I will have time to find a job to help me pay for the payments. Here is the second red flag. I get a call from them (I swear they call you everyday) saying that they are going to try to "help" me out with my financial situation, needless to say they inform me that I NOW am approved for all "grants and loans" and my total will be 19k without 2k coming out of my pocket. What happened to the 2k that had to come out of pocket? Why wasn't this option given to me beforehand? I politely decline the offer realizing they are just worried about getting my money. Third red flag, after I politely declined they continued to harass me by calling me everyday, practically trying to bully me into enrolling. They used every technique in the book from having me enroll and them getting me a job through career planning (yeah right) to trying to disrespect me by saying any low budget job I find outside of what the school would find me will be my career. After that I decided to do some homework of my own and came across this site, best thing I ever did. Read all of these reviews about how the school tries to get over on the desperate and poor which is totally the truth. Run from this school, they only want your money.

Highly unorganized school. Overpriced by too much $34,000 for the nursing program. The staff is rude and the minute you need extra help you are on your own. Not allowed to see what you go wrong on a test so how do you learn from your mistakes. I was kicked out for failing a class by one point. Since I was 3/4 thru the program and paid in cash, I HAVE NOTHING BUT A BAD EXPERIENCE AND DEBT. Compete waste of time and money. The school is constantly having new staff because the Director of Nursing is so rude. She has NO compassion for anyone. That place makes me sick to my stomach, especially when I see their joke of commercials on TV. I attended the Hamden Connecticut campus. What a joke this school is!

Going to Lincoln Tech in Edison, NJ was the biggest regret in my life. I went there when it was fairly new (we were only the third class). The school was terrible. It was highly unorganized, I didn't learn anything that was actually needed and it did not prepare me for nursing jobs. I spent over $20, 000 going there and now I'm in debt with loans. I passed the classes with flying colors and grated with "honors" and I still failed the NCLEX the first time. They told us that the previous class had a passing rate of 80 something percent but what they didn't tell us was the class size was considerably smaller because it was the first one. My friends and I did not know that and a lot of us failed the NCLEX. We all said we were not ready even though we did well in the actually classes and clinical. Till this day, I still have not gotten a job but I have gone to interviews. One of the places even said that Lincoln Tech was not a great school. If you really want to become a LPN, go to Middlesex VoTech. It is only a 1/4 of the tuition, they apparently more organized, and have a higher passing rate. Or even better, if you can get into a community college nursing program, go there because you can actually get a degree.
