"Lock Haven University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program is the best program I ever could have asked for. I have almost graduated, and it was the best decision I made in my career to attend this school. The quality of education is great and they really want to ensure you understand all the material and are critically thinking, not just memorizing things for useless little quizzes/etc. All the professors are amazing and truly care about their student's success and well-being. They are not just trying to get you to graduate, they want you to be successful and well-trained as a counselor when you graduate. I would rate this as the #1 program in the country if I could. I looked into many other programs and I am very glad I chose this one. I am an out-of-state student so the tuition is a bit high but the quality of education you are getting is worth every penny of the price you pay, and they help you greatly to make sure you are license-eligible if you are in another state. 10/10 program, ranked very highly for a reason."

"Lock Haven's sport administration program is by far one of the more superior programs to be involved with at Lock Haven, between all the volunteering opportunities that are projected for students , to the awesome professors who have an insane amount of knowledge about the sports industry and their connections they use to get internships, jobs, and opportunities for us students. To say the least it's a great program to be in to have fun AND to be successful at the same time, I don't know what's better than that !"

"The campus was nice and easy to find all classes. Dorms were okay but since I've left they have made renovations and it looks even better. They have pretty good food and there is an Starbucks on campus which is amazing. People are friendly. They do have a store on campus you are able to buy frozen meals and other necessary items if you are in need. but if you need to go to an actual grocery store getting there as a freshman is hard since you can't have a car and the walk is pretty long. Great teachers!"

"The school is known for its education programs, which I found to be the worst department of all. Quality instruction in every other discipline and my eventual program. At smaller schools, there are fewer options so better to know what you want to study for sure as opposed to a large university where you can study anything. The location was great, despite not being the type of place I would normally want to live. For four years, it was a great experience."

"Very competitive program. Will suit me well for the field as a physician assistant. Extremely stressful but I can tell the value."
