"I had the misfortune of wasting time and money on attempting to get a MA in Psychology from this school. Needless to say, I never finished the program as I chose to not return after my first semester due to the astonishingly low quality of it. From the get go, they couldn’t even send me a proper acceptance letter. I applied for the MA in Psych. program, and they sent me a letter congratulating me for getting into the Marriage Counseling program, which simply already sent me the message that a), they’re completely disorganized and not really competent (these are small programs, so not a lot of students to keep track of) and b), they obviously don’t care about me if they can’t even bother to get what program I’m trying to apply to right. I had one adjunct instructor in particular whose teaching was very low-quality and not at all appropriate for a graduate-level program and I remember she couldn’t spell evidenced by several misspelled words in the class syllabus (red flag!) She was also unapproachable and would outright not answer questions I had, telling me instead to ask my fellow classmates. This was in contrast to a much better instructor I had there, who was more than happy to answer any and all of my questions after class. This lead me to believe that the instructor who wouldn’t answer my questions was just condescending. I was also lead to believe by a “recruiter” that I’d DEFINITELY receive financial aid if I applied, but when tried to get any, I was denied. I could say more about this college but won’t due to lack of space on here. Just do your research before deciding to go this school, and keep this in mind if you’re looking at the MA Psychology program in particular because what I learned while being there for a semester was that MANY in my cohort were very disappointed in the quality of it as well."

"I had an excellent experience gaining theory as well as practical knowledge and experience through lectures, workshops, online course elements, reading material, presentations, extensive practicum and more. The faculty was experienced, helpful, and dedicated to student's success. My cohort became close knit and great friends as I found the structure of the classes facilitated group projects and assignments that required us to collaborate and work together. These same said projects brought our learning to life and allowed us to apply and develop new skills needed for success in our careers. In fact I found that the knowledge and experience I gained through this program allowed me to pass on new knowledge and teaching methods, tools, and strategies to my associate teachers in my practicum. Absolutely loved this school and my professors. I was able to put to use my thorough education in the field of elementary education right away and I am very happy that I chose Medaille College's Master of Science: Elementary Program (Ontario and New York State)."

"Poor management of the program. Students are reprimanded for advocating for themselves and their education. There is a shut up and go to class mentality at this campus, I'm not sure how Buffalo campus may differ. I've heard good things from the other program. I would not recommend wasting your time at this school. This program is supposed to be for adults returning to education and is set up as such, but the faculty treat the students like it's high school."

"My co-worker attended Medaille College and she had nothing good things to say about it. Starting from the beginning the admission process was easy. I was even able to waive my application fee. The admissions counselor made sure that I was aware of the deadline and answered any questions. The open house and the orientation was very informative and made me feel welcome. The program is small so meeting the classmates that you were going to spend the 2 years with was great. It gave you a good feel of how well you were going to work together. Emailing professors and advisers was easy because the response were flash quick. I would also like to say that getting a scholarship was not bad at all. I would so recommend this College."

"A smaller school with absolutely wonderful professors! Professors would always take time out of their days to meet with you if you ever needed help with anything and always made sure you knew everything before you left their office. The counselors worked with you to get all your classes in a row before next semesters registration which made everything so much easier. Just make sure you wake up the earliest on your day to register so you can get into all the classes you need :) They are pretty good about dual credits being transferred too; which was awesome! With highschool credits and other two years at community college, I didn't have much more to get through when entering Medaille. :)"

"pros: lots of tutoring help, teachers are friendly, peers are helpful cons: workload is way too much, classes are too speedy and pack too much info into them, students cannot retain info"

"The MBA program is a very affordable option for adult students with families and careers. The curriculum is challenging, however the instructors are very personable and encouraging. Medaille College should be rated higher nationally."

"This is a new program in the Rochester area. I love going to school one weekend per month. It is very self directed which works well for me. Staff are very helpful in ensuring student success. Draw back would be for young students who do not manage their time well."
