School administrators and staffs were all supportive and helpful. As I started with my chosen program I was a bit nervous and scared as my course back home is not related to the program i choose but as I went along every steps of the program and being positive , here I am now after I'm done with my externship I am very much ready to face whatever challenges in the job site if ever hired.
Taking up the MLAT course was a good and fun experience. I've met a lot of new people and learned a lot from the teachers who are so great and helpful to all the students. I hope that the Toronto Campus would continue doing there best.. Overall, EXCELLENT!!
My course was short and the teachers was great and was always willing to help you to meet your goals they prepared me for the work place and a better future from me and my family. If they had an E C A program I would do it at Medix , the classes was small so the teacher was able to help all of the students need thank you Medix college Toronto
I am very thankful and feel blessed to reach my ambition. It changed my life to help me find a better job in the future and to learn a lot from my school. I really appreciate all professors who are kind and patient for teaching us and guiding us.
This was a face-paced learning environment that covers a very wide range of medical topics. Time is spent learning about medical conditions as well as time spent in a clinical laboratory setting to practice skills that will be a part of your future career. There is a lot of information presented in a short period of time that will prepare you for a career as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Good luck to all future students
I started with no medical background and went in to the MLAT program and I was terrified. My first week in I felt like I was over my head and I almost dropped out but I wanted to finish this program as I want to be able to help people with health issues but in a background capacity as I have a lot of family that have Health issues. I was scared I would not be able to do this program because I did not have any background in the medical field and how was I going to be able to do the work and follow the lectures and learn all the medical terminology. Well I was able to do all of that because of the way that the course was taught and structured. The professors that I had at the Toronto campus were able to hone in on each students level of medical knowledge and lack there of and teach the material so that everyone in the class can learn. If you did not understand something the professors would explain the procedure and the lectures so that you understood the why and how behind what you are going to be doing. I am glad to say that it was with the way the program was structured that I was able to finish and understand what was being taught and not worry about the what-if's. The career services center makes sure that you are prepared for interviews and I am happy to say that the whole campus staff and students in my class became a part of my family.
I won't even waste my time writing an actual review- everything that needs to be said about this school has already been said. Any of the POSITIVE reviews you see on here are written by the ADMINISTRATION, who spend their days trolling the internet for negative reviews to combat. This is a fact. You want the truth about this school, read the negative reviews- they will give you the most accurate description of a "Medix Education" and what to expect. Don't bother applying yourself, or going the extra mile, ever-- EVERYONE graduates from Medix. Just show up... some of the time anyway, and you can buy a diploma! Turns out to be completely useless once you have it in hand. I have had interviewers say, "Oh, you went to Medix?" and roll their eyes at me and eachother. I try to defend myself, but it's useless. We are a joke. Medix graduates are professional jokes-- Understand that before you go into this school thinking they are going to facilitate you landing your dream job.
Medix helped me alot in my career change. I found a job in less time after graduating. Now I'm working in one of the biggest medical laboratory in Canada. Good training brought me to where i am right now. I'm happy and very proud. Thank you Medix college!
The instructors teach with passion. They impart their knowledge in the best ability that they can in order for the students to fully grasp the topic in a simple and understandable way. Their laboratory has equipment that is set-up like in an actual laboratory.
