Degree: Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist
Graduation Year: 2014

Missouri Western State University was an excellent school to attend to get my undergraduate degree. The campus was small compared to other surrounding campuses but that is what I liked about it. The class sizes were small, ranging from 20-30 students for general study classes to 10-15 students for core classes. There is a wide range of programs and degrees offered both on campus and online. The professors were very helpful for students who were struggling a bit. They were great about working around schedules so that the student could get the help they needed. The professors really wanted to see their students succeed in their classes as well as life after graduation. This university was all about doing things to help reach out to the community. The theatre department was put in 4-5 plays throughout the year and the science department would host the annual Super Science Saturday event to get kids interested in science. The facilities were great. The buildings were always clean and organized. There was a new football stadium build and every summer the Chiefs football team would come and have their summer training camp there. The community was encouraged to come out and watch them run drills and scrimmage. I spent the best years of my life here. I would highly recommend this university to upcoming college students!
