Degree: Licensed Practical Nurse

MSUB-City College is a great option for student's who are looking for 2-year degrees and very hands on teachers. I have been in communication through various times with our counselors, financial aid office, business office, student help and tutoring as well as the instructors. Everyone I have talked to has helped me in some various way and is always courteous. The instructors care a lot about the students and go to great lengths to ensure the students succeed. Our campus is always well kept and even the support staff (cooks, bookstore clerks, etc.) are awesome. I have yet to meet a negative employee yet. Aside from the awesome staff; the curricula are set up in a very do-able way. Each program has specialized instructors that can answer most all questions about the pertaining field. You can take more than or fewer classes as needed to fit your schedule. The student help office is awesome and can schedule private tutors as needed. Everything you need to succeed is at your finger tips, you just have to be willing to work. The programs are set up to make you work hard and gain the knowledge needed. If you are not willing to do the work don't expect to pass. All the resources are there, but dedication is a must.
