Morrisville offers a very nice selection of classes and teachers. The only negative side was that I felt unprepared and alone in the process of which classes I should take. I intended to take the classes needed to prepare for my bachelors degree, and then go onto medical school after that. I was disappointed to find that I was essentially guiding myself through the process alone. But thankfully there is a lot of information on the internet to tell what kinds of classes are recommended. But the teachers were great. The class sizes were small and the school in general is accepting and helpful. The financhial aide office is also very helpful with assisting with students who are financially in need.

Degree: Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, Other
Graduation Year: 2015

Morrisville is a small enough campus to get small classes and individualized attention when you need it. Every professor I had there was very passionate about what they were doing. Each one was willing to take the time to speak to me during office hours, or even right after class when I needed it. The school itself is easy to navigate, and the offices (bursar, financial aid, or whomever) were always very helpful. My advisor and the school of study office was great, and it kind of took me by surprise that they knew me by name after only one semester. The library runs our of seating sometimes, but this didn't happen often, but enough to mention it. As a resident of NY state, tuition is very affordable. I do have to say, as a non-traditional student who is about 6 years older than a traditional student, I found a number of students at Morrisville who were not at all serious about their education. Gossip and blabber is often an issue in many quiet study areas, and some students have absolutely no regard for those who are studying, despite the signs posted everywhere designating "quiet study area". This happened to me probably 4 out of 6 times I sat down to study in the library, which was very frustrating. If you can get past that, then Morrisville is a good place for you.
