Mount Mary provides an environment where students can really interact with and receive individual attention from faculty and staff. For someone who is looking for a "college experience," the school is a little too small and it is very difficult to find social groups and new friends as most students are commuters. Also, just because the school offers a major, it doesn't mean that the major program is very strong -- this is a great school for Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, and Psychology/Counseling.

Tell us about your college experience.

I fit right in college. I was treated with respect by fellow students and teachers even though I was only 18 when starting.

Would you get the same degree if you could start over?

Yes I would. I have enjoyed my career as an educator and still do.

What advice can you offer other students?

Make sure you choose a career that you will enjoy for many years. Try it out first. Be an intern or volunteer in the field.
