I have attended this school two different times. The first time I finished my IT degree and was owed a refund. I never seen that refund and that was few years ago. I attended again this last pass summer and was suppose to get a refund. I never received it. I’ve been calling them and leaving messages. No one is contacting me back or trying to help. Terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend no one attend this school online or on campus. School only cares about money and will keep your money that’s... Read More

Horrible. I feel like they don’t want to help you graduate. They are for profit and they would rather you stay and spend more money. I have asked for help a million times and then they send me someone else’s status sheet. I wish I would’ve never started here and finished at Colorado Tech instead. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here.

I have been attending NAU for a few years now. It has been a decent experience. I did a few in class courses and the rest have been online. I prefer the online classes as they are flexible. Cons about them are broken links to assignments sometimes and self motivation to get the work done. Academic advisors have been changed like 8 or 9 times for me seems like every quarter i get a new one as the old one leaves for a new job. I read so many bad reviews on here but it seems like bitter people who ran... Read More

I completed my certificate in Medical Coding and spoke with my counselor about taking the summer off and then beginning in the fall. I have been calling them for 2 months and left over 10 messages with no response back. I have called every single NAU phone number I could find and received no contact back. I have sent multiple emails to my counselor with zero responses for the Centennial campus in CO. I have no clue what happened and why they will not return my calls.

The business program is great for anyone looking to further their education. I had great professors and classes. I love the flexibility of the schedule and being able to the do the program at my speed I want. I graduated quicker coming to NAU then I would have at any other school.

My employer required me to go back to school and get a business management degree. I was able to do my entire program on line without having to miss any work. My professors were top notch and always willing to help me. If you are looking for a school that is convenient with you working and going to school, they are for you.

The Accounting Program was the best experience I could have asked for! When choosing my classes, they had so many to choose from that would fit my schedule. I was able to work and go to school to get my degree. My professors were so helpful and always willing to help me!

This institution is a total nightmare!!!! When you first start off everyone is great but as soon as your close to the finish line it is like they start adding classes to your degree to obtain more money. Biggest mistake of my life attending this school. DO NOT ATTEND THIS UNIVERSITY!!!!

My decision to attend this school was somewhat arbitrary, but it turned out well. I experienced pro's and con's during the process of getting my degree. First the pro's: I could hold a full time job, and get the degree I needed to further my career. Financial Aid was never a problem, and I generally got all the help from instructors I needed. The Con's: It cost a lot of money, but I knew that going in. I was pretty confident that I could make up that amount of money with improved income. The other... Read More

This school is a joke and not worth the time wasted. I went to the school online and on campus and by the end of my degree I was told that my financial aid would not cover my last semester of classes and my last classes I had to come out of pocket for my books. I had to spend money I did not have just to graduate. Which I was told my financial aid would cover my Classes when I first enrolled. Also I was told they would promise to help you get a job in your field of study. When I graduated they lost... Read More

This school has became a joke in the last 5 to 10 years. Because people were forced online, the higher ups (Trump wanna be's) believe this is the direction they should stay because students are enrolling in online classes. YEAH BECAUSE THERE ARE NO ON CAMPUS CLASSES ANYMORE!! HELL there is no more staff at that. I hate to say this as I personally know the founding family of this company, THIS COMPANY is going under. I have 3 classes left and cannot seem to get a response and oh by the way I work... Read More

This school is complete crap. They charge outrageous tuition and offer little in return. They should be more carefully examined by the Feds. TERRIBLE!! I think that the (underpaid) faculty do try, but when they recognize that they are simply pawns in the game, they go away. The admins are over payed, and all they are expected to do is to string students along to enroll in the next term.

NAU is a diploma mill. I was unfortunate enough to have enrolled with Westwood College right before they closed and was basically railroaded into enrolling at NAU as it was the only school that would accept Westwoods credits. The representatives at NAU were like vultures circling a carcass and it was obvious the only motivation was to obtain Federal Student Loan Funds...I was advised after I completed my classes that financial aid did not cover my last several classes and I had to come out of pocket... This is all self study. Do not expect support from the program director. She will turn anything and everything around that you say and make it be your fault. The "instructors" do not know how to teach. Sure they know the job of being an OTA or OT, but they have not the slightest clue how to relay any actual information and teach. They will also mislead you into thinking that there is a huge demand for COTA, there is not. It took me MONTHS to find a job, and it was only PRN or part time. Sure they... Read More

look... I had not even started the school yet and I was having second questions. All of the different websites I had to create accounts for did not feel safe. I did not even know or get to pick what classes I wanted to be enrolled in. Once me and my mother called my representative to cancel my classes, she started to try and tell my mother how to raise me! She was also trying to belittle my mothers knowledge on the government shutdown and how the students loans were going to come through as the government... Read More

I graduated last year 2017 from NAU with my BA in Business Management and the entire time it was dreadful. Even now I was dumb enough to back to school for my masters using their graduate program and that was a joke. I didn't graduate from this school. This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A SCHOOL. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY DEFINITELY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY . I cannot believe how disappointed I am/was with this school . Never again . If somebody refers you ... don't do it.
