"Completely unprofessional and disorganized management. Impossible to contact or reach, disinterested and clueless faculty. Course advertised as challenging and informative, but was really just superficial concepts and a complete waste of time. Cameras and other equipment about to break apart, and TAs are overbearing, rude, and not helpful. A joke to even call this an "academy.""

"If you want to become an actor, filmmaker, or etc. This school would be more ideal if that is your field. It's more hands on , smaller class room, which means you get more attention from the instructor. The best part is, they will have events like a live performance that will make you bring your A game in a control environment. This allows you to see what works and what doesn't work for you."

"The New York Film Academy offers an intense program for those interested in Acting, Filmmaking, and other related courses. The professors are great and they help you get one step closer of pursuing your goals of filmmaking. Upon graduation you will be experienced none the less having graduated fom a school that prides itself on a "learn by doing" curriculum."

"The teachers are working professionals and therefore, we learn a lot from the class and from their practical experience. The courses are designed to give an overall view and better understanding of what your job as a producer, director, or anyone else on the set entails. This is a great school to be a part of."

"I believe the pros are that the MFA Producing Program really prepares you to become an independent producer in the industry. I have learned a lot and they provide opportunities to help me jumpstart my career towards becoming an independent producer. Cons are that scheduling is a hassle and they have some kinks to work out in the program to make it run more efficiently."

"We have very long days (usually 7 to 10 hours) and have to learn scripts and read plays after that but if you're passionate about acting it's definitely worth it. We also can't be late... after 7 minutes you're not allowed to come in the classroom and have to wait until break. But all of that is a very preparation for the real life of a working actor. Most of the teachers are also very passionate about acting and know what they are taking about even though there are a few exceptions. The school is pretty expensive and it's hard to find financial aid but it's worth it in my opinion."

"The biggest pros are that there is a lot of experience work, which is very good in my career goals. The cons are that not that much high professional teachers."
