"NYU has been trying to scale up their engineering program(NYU Tandon) in particular computer science, data science and electrical engineering to do that they have been investing a great amount of money into infrastructure. The facilities are some of the best available on any campus. If you want to make something nyu most likely has it or can provide it for you. The big problem comes with the quality control of Professors as they have tried to scale. There are a number of Professors that are not up to par from what you would expect at a high end engineering school."

"NYU was good as a grad school. I'm not sure if if it would be a great school to attend as an undergrad."

"I liked NYU as a graduate school because I was with the same people in a particular program, but I'm not sure I would like it as an undergrad. There's no defined "campus" because it's just in the middle of the Greenwich village in Manhattan."

"A rigorous program that offers an in-depth and broad foundation in Computer Science. One must have programming experience to succeed in the foundational classes. C++ is a necessity. The teachers mostly offer help as needed. The coursework is challenging."
