"This is a very small school in a very small town. The college is in Newberry, SC and there is never really anything to do. The town has nothing for college students to enjoy besides one bar downtown. The cafeteria offers at least 4 or 5 options of different foods to eat. There is not much of a social life on campus unless you are in a Fraternity/sorority or sport team. Overall it is not a bad school, but can be very boring if you are not involved in anything. Besides sports, it is not many clubs/organizations to get involved with."

"The college was pretty split. There were some buildings that were progressing in technology while there were others that were not. There are a combination of chalk boards, white boards, and interactive boards throughout the campus. The campus itself is quite small, so it is easy to move about from one location to another. The quality of education that a person receives depends on the degree that a person is working towards. With that being said, it's of no surprise that many people end up transferring to another location. For education, the school looks down on music education but places a lot of emphasis on secondary mathematics and science. Unless a person finds friends who they can form a close knit with, these courses will either crush you or make you stronger in the field. I learned a lot, not just from the teachers in my field, but also from those who were not. There are teachers who are there to see you grow as a person, and there are some who are quite difficult to work with (they generally do not stay long) The best part of the college is their attempt to bring about a sense of family. About every few weeks or so, there is an event for students to partake in. Either they are building something, having a picture created, or interacting with an outside source. These events can provide some excitement to a dead campus or give students a means of taking their minds off of hours of hard work. It gives students a chance to be kids. In my mind, that is worth more than words can describe"
