Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is an excellent place to begin your degree program or to take courses for continued education credits. Enrollment to NOVA is easily completed online with payments made at the time of enrollment or through the financial office. The bookstore staff is extremely helpful with selling old books and assisting students find the books for upcoming courses along with any other supplies that will be required. I found the instructors knowledgeable about the subjects they were teaching and willing to take the time to answer questions outside of the classroom. The instructors always interacted with the students during class and helped make the course a positive experience. As an adult student, the instructors never made me feel out of place with a classroom full of much younger peers. I found the campuses impressive with state of the art computer rooms, available tutoring and areas where study groups could meet. When I transferred to another school, I found it easy to obtain copies of my official transcripts and had no problems with my credits transferring. The administrative staff was eager to help me with my transcript request and I received them very quickly. I would highly recommend NOVA to anyone who was thinking of obtaining a degree, looking to take core courses towards an undergraduate degree, or in need of taking continued education credits.
