Student & Graduate Reviews (1)

Degree: English Language and Literature, General
Graduation Year: 2011

I absolutely loved college. I feel that it expanded my mind and helped me think about things in new ways. I got a lot out of the experience personally and intellectually. That being said, I cannot say that my degree helped me get any of my previous jobs. I've had to go back to school to get a certificate and now I am in sales at a fortune five hundred company, but I know that my degree did not help me get this job at all. Or my last job, or the job before that. It's frustrating to know that I'm going to paying off these loans for years to come and the job that I'm paying them with it didn't help me get. In many ways I envy people who didn't get degrees, but am still thankful that I got mine. Life isn't all about money and what I got far outweighs the amount of money I spent.
