"I liked that they were a small school and close my home, and things started out fine but by my last semester things had changed. Quite a few professors have large egos that if you don't play along with will end up hurting you. In particular my last course for my history degree, the professor wanted to fail me because I didn't write my paper his way even though he said (and every professor I've ever dealt with over the years) has always stated to write for your peers. I would have not been able to get my double major or graduate just because of one professor's ego--to top it off, the head of the department was his friend so there was no help there. Overall, I did not and still don't feel prepared to work in the real world. It felt like high school all over again--learning enough for the state to warrant you educated, but throwing you out not fully prepared. They got my money and I only learned how to study and learn in a school setting and not how to apply the new knowledge in the real world. Plus when I went to career services after 2 years of being unemployed they pretty much said I was on my own. Very disappointed and would not reccomend."

"Ohio Wesleyan is a great liberal arts school that provides students with ample opportunities to grow. The school presents rigorous courses that help students excel. The small school allows students to seek out professors as mentors and several leadership and mentoring options. Students leave OWU with a tight network and strong resumes to go into the workforce with."

"Ohio Wesleyan University professors are dedicated to their students education and personal growth. Each professor makes time for their students outside of the classroom to talk about class concerns, and personal future career and educational goals. Ohio Wesleyan makes it a mission to be an inclusive campus with a focus on diversity. As a small private liberal arts university the class sizes are small. Additionally, most students receive scholarship and financial aid."

"I absolutely loved my time at Ohio Wesleyan. It's a very close-knit and socially engaged campus, and you're encouraged to advocate for issues that you care about, especially through the Small Living Unit (SLU) community. Greek Life at OWU is also a supportive community focused on leadership and service, that really defies a lot of stereotypes. The well-rounded liberal arts education I earned prepared me so well both for my current education in medical school, and to be a critical thinker in every area of my life. The faculty truly want to see students succeed, and will support you however they can. Ohio Wesleyan was the best thing that ever happened to me!"

"I loved college. I loved taking different courses and expanding my knowledge. Often it was the classes outside of my major that really challenged my thinking and changed how I approached problems in a general way. It is a great time to explore different interests and really develop the critical thinking process."
