"Oral Roberts University is a top tier Graduate and Undergraduate school that combined excellent academics with a spiritual emphasis that is second to none. The education received at Oral Roberts University preparedĀ meĀ for the real world and gave me the tools needed to succeed in life."

"I loved the experience at ORU; now it's on to grad school. It's a great Christian school, and the school and most of the students are true to that. My biggest issue is that teacher pay is very low compared to other Oklahoma universities. Also, SA wastes far too much money on useless things."

"The professors at ORU are very nice and really care about you as an individual. However, they freely admit that their history programs services mostly people who are planning on working in K 12, as opposed to doing history in academia. This results in a lack of opportunities for attending and presenting at conferences or the classes being rigorous enough to prepare you for a top tier grad program. Therefore, this is a great program if you are looking for lot of one on one time with the professors and are looking to teach K12. However, if you are looking to attend grad school, you might to look somewhere else."

"Oral Roberts is a great university! The schools' focus on spirit, mind, and body help you become the "whole person" to conquer your field of interest. Every teacher wants to see you succeed. I have yet to find a teacher who hasn't been willing to help students one on one. Every teacher is well qualified. On a different note, the school feels very balanced. It is a Christian Private University, but it also succeeds in sports (Division 1) and academics, which is rare for private schools. However, the rules can be a bit demanding. There is a dress code, curfew, and dorms are closed off to the opposite sex. Sometimes it can be frustrating. Yet, the people at the school make it well worth it. There's a different atmosphere. Almost as if people actually care for your well being. It's extremely encouraging."

"Originally, Oral Roberts University was not on my list of choice colleges that I was interested in attending after graduating high school. A reason for this is because I did not want my parents to believe that I would make my decision solely upon choices that the people surrounding me committed. Although this is true, God desired, from the beginning of time, for me to be pushed a bit deeper into the divine destiny that He purposed for my life. I say this with such earnest, the day that I submitted the online undergraduate application to ORU was one of the best days of my life! Now that I am attending ORU, my faith and trust in God has greatly strengthened and my desire to be a blessing to others has authentically intensified. My major is Social Work and I am currently involved in one of the twenty plus outreach and mission programs that ministers joy and healing to abused children. Here at ORU, God has placed genuine friends in my life who revere Him and have changed my life forever. The professors and teachers have the best interest of the students in mind and are serious about embracing education, teaching students how to be effective in the work place. The coursework is very enjoyable and adequately provides an ease in comprehending educational material. Words cannot express the joy that I have experienced while attending ORU. There is no mistaking the truth that ORU pushes and empowers students to fulfill their God given destiny and I can truly say that I am being pushed and empowered. I will never be the same again!"
