"Ouachita Baptist is a quaint little college nestled in the southern part of Arkansas. Here you'll find not just a place to grow as a person, but a community of students and faculty that are with you during that journey. This family atmosphere becomes your second home as you embark on your next journey in life. When you take your first classes, you realize that the professors here are different from other schools. They actually want to meet you, and some might even invite you and your class to their home for dinner!! They are not only invested in your academic success, but your personal success as well. So whether its cheering for you at an intramural game or you just going to their office to blow off some steam, they are for whatever you need them to be. The student life at Ouachita enables students to become involved in almost anything. One of my favorite things to get involved in was called Tiger Serve Day. This a day that happens every semester, through the Elrod Center, where the entire campus comes and helps serve those in the community. We would do things like yard work, cleaning houses, or simply just visiting folks in the community who don't have much help. It truly is a blessing to these folks to see the smiles on their faces when we drive up to their homes. The Elrod center also has other service opportunist like elder serve (get matched with an elderly person and spend time with them once or more a week). The service areas do not just stop there, as Ouachita is built on serving others. So you will have no problem finding service opportunities on this campus. I hope that you consider this great college. I truly mean every word as Ouachita has given me lifetime friends and professors that I still continue to keep up with. The people you meet here don't forget you even after you've been gone 20 years. They continue to support you even after you have graduated."

"Ouachita is a great community where everybody can find a home. The faculty genuinely cares about the students as individuals, and the classes are small enough to where you can know everybody. At Ouachita, you receive a great intellectual education, spiritual education, and emotional education."

"Ouachita Baptist is a great school full of wonderful students and teachers. They have an extensive core class program that helps in getting a well rounded liberal arts education. And since I'm a vocal performance student, I can attest to the fact that they have a wonderful music and theatre department. I would recommend Ouachita to any high school graduate."
