Degree: Health Sciences

All my four years here there’s always been an issues that was dealt with unprofessionally. After my two weeks of my freshman year I realized I hated it, I only stayed because of distance connivence with family. The school also likes to brag about diversity, but there’s not much care for minorities.

It was always impossible to get ahold of every advisor I ever had. Throughout the couple of years that I attended Park, they switched my advisor several times. Anytime I needed them they never would answer any of my phone calls are emails, even when the situation was urgent it would take at least a week to hear from anyone. It became very frustrating and felt as if I was almost being set up for failure. I ended up transferring because I just felt that this just wasn't right for me, very disappointed.... Read More

Degree: Criminal Justice

Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration in 2008 from Park University. Most of the classes I took were online and during that time, I was on Active Duty with the US Army. It was very convenient taking classes online especially considering the fact that I had to work nights. I was able to get assistance with my degree plan with counselors on site at Fort Irwin, CA and did not have any problems registering for classes or completing class work. Instructors were very understanding... Read More

Attending Park University was a horrible experience! I actually left the program part of the way through. Financial aid department was unorganized and unfriendly. They still send statements stating that I owe them money. I spoke with several school districts regarding the program and none of them were interested or thought it would be beneficial. I was advised to stick with my past Master's degree and teaching experience. The instructors did not care and the online curriculum (especially in the research... Read More

Excellent Non-for-Profit private school. The school is completely affordable for working students. It offers online programs, blended courses and in campus courses; the school adapts to the student's needs regarding the method of learning. The main campus located in Parkville Missouri is a beauty, and a real campus for those students that want to experience the student living on campus and face to face interaction. The other centers located in major Air force bases and Marine Corps bases are extensions... Read More

Overall good private, not-for-profit college

Degree: Computer Science

Not a top of the line school, but much better than most private colleges; especially online. I attended both face-to-face and online classes with very few issues. I'm not a fan of the online proctoring of final exams (I prefer the real proctors), but I understand why they do it. If you're looking for a big name public school, don't go to Park. However, if you are looking for a decent private college that will give you a more than adequate education, this is your place.

I just completed my third 8 week online session. It's a nightmare. Due dates and assignment details often contradict each other. The program they use for online classes will lock you out and save nothing. The whole experience from start to finish has been challenging. So much busy work week. I'd say the professors are 50/50 as far as knowledgeable and helpful. Financial aid money is not released for 2 weeks after class starts.

Park University is a great institution for all levels of education. It not only benefits service members but very efficient for anyone not associated with the Armed Forces. Whether it's in seat or online, Park University is very user friendly. They also have many programs to connect you to other networking links to get you started in your field of study. Teachers working for Park have been screened and have worked in the field in which they are teaching. Not only will you get the knowledge of the... Read More

Park University was an excellent school to attend and would recommend it to future students of all ages and across the nation. This University was recommended to me by my father-in-law who graduated in 1994 to attend this school, he helped guide me through my college career path with this university. But it was the instructors that was very understanding, compassionate, and great motivators. If I had questions or concerns the teachers were readily available and were very helpful. I graduated Park University with my Bachelors and ultimately continued on towards a Masters in Business Administration. The online format was exceptional and all of my instructors were actively engaged throughout the learning process. Park University is a regionally accredited University and therefore requires you to put in time and effort which helps you grow academically and professionally. Since graduating I have out shined my peers at work and my career has taken off!

I felt that Park was an extremely military friendly school. The staff at the local support officer were amazing at helping solve problems that came up. I was able to complete my degree in 4 years by taking online accelerated courses which I was able to schedule around deployments. The course that I took were challenging but easily doable for online courses. I was able to take 100 percent of the courses I needed online which was a big plus for me. The only drawback that I had was that some of the... Read More

Park University is an excellent, small college. The class sizes are nice sized and the professors are knowledgeable. I liked that there was diversity of age at Park. The campus is beautiful and makes you feel at home. Overall, I would recommend Park to anyone looking for a great college.

I am a single mother and I work a full-time job. Park University allowed me to take all of my classes for both my bachelor's and master's degrees online. All of my instructors have been great. When I've needed assistance, whether it was from the financial aide office. from an advisor, or from an instructor, everyone that I spoke to was willing to help. Attending Park University was a great choice.

Degree: Social Psychology

Loved the time I spent at Park pursuing my undergrad degree. Professors were very professional and helpful. Curriculum was tough, but by setting aside special study time, you can easily get assignments and discussions in on time. Financial aid was pretty good to work with, but be prepared to wait almost a week and a half on refunds. All in all, Park is a great institution, and I've referred several people to the online program.

Going to Park University at the satellite campus on the military base in California-Camp Pendleton was a great experience. I have used my degree in all aspects of life from work, interviews, relationships, friendships, to meeting strangers. Park University was a great way for me to continue my education and complete my B.S. Business MGMT/ Healthcare Admin degree. The night and online classes allowed me to work full time and attend school full time. The 8 week terms allowed me to complete the degree in the standard 4 years. The school and community created within my degree program was just what I needed in my college career. The environment is welcoming and the teachers are helpful. I have to say though their financial aid office is VERY poor. I got different answers in the same day to one simple question.
