"Radford University school of nursing is the most disorganized program I have ever seen. The nursing professors are genuinely some of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. This semester almost a quarter of our nursing students are on probation for tiny things. They try to run the students down and discourage them. I would not reccomend this program. The professors here are extremely rude, and never have any idea what is going on. They are slacking on teaching, and half of them dont even bother to answer their emails. Extremely disappointed."

"Classes at Radford University is typically 20-30 students. So if you want to be in small classes, this University would be a perfect fit for you. The campus is pretty small as well, so you will get used to where everything is at pretty quickly. If you bring a car, parking could be an issue. So if you live off campus, make sure to get there a little early so that you can find a parking spot. Overall, attending Radford University was a great experience."

"It did a lot to prepare me for life in the field of social work. It is not very diverse, however the education is worth it! The classrooms are a small to medium size so it is easy to get to know and connect one on one with your professors. It has great opportunities for internships and much more!!!"

"Once I entered my major at Radford University, I was impressed by almost all of my professors. My academic advisor was readily available and did everything in her power to make sure that I graduated as soon as I wanted to. I enjoyed learning about my career options and about the Psychology field from some very wise and helpful professors."

"The nursing program at Radford University is phenomenal. The faculty were top-notch, which is tough to find in nursing schools. I'm also currently enrolled at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, working towards a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree part-time, which has been very intense and thorough. I plan to graduate in 2019 and work as a Advanced Practice Nurse."

"The Master's degree I received at Radford University was with a program that has since turned into a PsyD doctoral psychology program. I found the Master's program helpful, but I cannot speak to the quality of the doctoral program."

"The pros of Radford University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program include: a challenging course load; professors who are enthusiastic about teaching the classes and are readily willing to help us out; being a new program, the equipment is nice and new, while also having plentiful amounts of resources to use to help us further our education! The cons would include difficulty of getting financial aid information from the University - this was a challenging procedure that not information was given to us about; not having great internet access on our laptops/phones in the building. Otherwise, the program is great."

"It's a great school in a small town. The campus is small so it's easy to navigate but there are a lot of recent updates and new buildings on campus that make it feel like a college in a big city."

"This program is rather competitive, and the workload can be very intense between classes and clinical clock hours. Faculty is very supportive, and the clients we see are rather diverse; making our clinical experience close to what types of cases we may see in our future careers as speech/language pathologists."

"Pros: Most professors are here to help teach you and allow room for growth. They want to see us succeed in their name, and most do what they can to assure our education and understand is concrete. Having a clinic on campus is also a major pro! It is a great way to ease into what being a certified clinician will be like some day. Cons: The resources here are limited. Printing is not free, you pay for everything. The library is on the other side of campus; hence if you need to access it, you most likely will not be able until after hours because of the busy schedule. Parking is impossible anywhere unless you have a parking pass and get here at 7:30 am. Finally, the work load is a bit much. There is no time to really do anything other than be a student."

"As I have just begun my journey to become a Physical Therapist at Radford University, I have not found any cons in this program and do not think that I will during my next 3 years here! I am absolutely in love with the area of Roanoke, VA. I am so appreciative of all of the professors as they are genuinely interested in seeing their students succeed and are so helpful in times of need. I love the hospital that the campus is located in. It is a very professional atmosphere and pushes you into your desire to succeed. I am proud to be a Highlander of Radford and I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing program."
