They Teachers and the dean are jerks these teachers never answer you back and the dean got upset with me because I told her I was unhappy with everything wouldn't you be if you wasted your money very unprofessional bottom line they don't care about you they just want your money don't waste your time I withdrawal from the school because it was just to stupid and everyone there is just there for a check if you go to the campus to try to get help nobody can help you they want you to call the a support line in other words they don't want to deal with you don't go here stay away

I had excellent experience with Rasmussen. I had the opportunity to have my second associate and my bachelors in human resources. If they had a master programs I'd definitely would have stay there and get my master. Most of the professors were very supporters, except for very few ones. Overall 5 stars in my opinion.

If you're looking for a good RN program then do not attend this college. They expect you to teach yourself all of the core nursing courses and know everything that they throw at you. When you first go in for the orientation, they do not tell you that within the two years at this school, you are only allowed to fail one class. If you failed two classes, it doesn't matter if it's the same course or a different course, you're out of the program. How they determine if you pass is that they average the three tests in the course and it needs to be at least 78%. It doesn't matter if you have a 88% for your overall grade, if all of your three exams does not average 78% then you failed the class. For those of you who have no nursing experience, I recommend that you attend a college that has residential hands on class. This way you have an instructor who can actually help you. This college will just stack you with 6-8 chapters per week and expect you to know "everything" in the reading.Overall, this school is super expensive (one NUR course is $1440) and has too high of an expectation but offer no guidance.

I hate Rasmussen college. My biggest problem i had was with their financial aid department, it was always something.when i couldn't receive my refund on time. When i fished the 2015 fall courses i passed with a B+ and C+ but i was put on financial aid probation for the winter courses. I would receive no aid. They show no mercy about if you have personal stress in your life, i have to drop a course 3 times since i was enrolled and i wasn't in good academic standing. I did appeal it and i was approve to receive aid but here is the problem i had to take 6 courses and pass with a c or d in all of them. I agreed to do it and then when i was enrolled in them i was told i had to pay $1900 which i didn't have, so i had to withdraw. I am in a new school but what has me so mad now. I called the student loan management because my new school needs a document of how much loans i received. I was told to contact this department and this guy answered and he was a out right jerk toward me rude as he can be. He told me go to the National student loan website, but i told him my new school is requesting it Rasmussen. Well he then proceeded to tell me in a hostile way their is nothing more i can give you, and who ever told me to contact us was wrong. Well why would they tell me to contact the student loan management team. That is all Rasmussen has done is lied and pushed me around. But this is the first time someone was just plain out rude and hateful toward me. I told him what i thought of his attitude and hung up. If they are going to be rude toward me i have a right to be rude back!.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2017

I have completed my associate degree with Rasmussen. I then rolled over to go for my bachelor degree. I was only 12 classes from graduation when I was told that I did not have any more financial aid available and had a balance on my account of just over $1600. I had attended other schools in the past but was never told by any of them that there was a cap on the amount of financial aid (student loans) that anyone is able to draw on. Rasmussen's classes are 4 credits each which takes more of the financial aid than expected and charges $150 per class for books and other administrative fees which are all tacked onto the financial aid. If I had known that I would have been placed in this predicament, I would have chosen a different school. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!

Great school, great staff. The online experience is pleasant and rewarding. I actually learned while attending this school, more than I can say for the school I am currently attending. The staff is professional, and they maximize your student loans in order to get you the best education they possibly can. I highly recommend Rasmussen College.

Degree: Pharmacy
Graduation Year: 2020

This is the worst college ever. Don't waste your time or money. They signed me up for a class told me to take it then once I got passed my dead line to drop they told me the amount. This school has to be one of the most unprofessional schools I've ever dealt with. The people at the school are horrible the financial advisor started yelling at me on the phone one day and will not drop my debt even though they told me the amount after they told me it wouldn't be much with all my financial aid and wanted almost 10,000 for a pharmacy certificate. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I'm not sure why some of the reviews are so bad. I am a veteran and I am using my VA benefits. I agree, some of the classes I have to take are stupid to have to take for my degree. On the other hand, all the instructors I have had have been great. I have weekly online class time, or I watch the recording. My instructors and everyone at the school, have always got back to me in a timely manner. It does take some instructors a while to grade, I do admit that. For my life and my schedule, Rasmussen is the best fit for me. My courses are broken into 2, 6 week courses, with a week or so break in between. I have never had to do work over a major weekend or holiday. Due dates are all in the syllabus and you can work ahead if you want. I manage my time so I don't have to do school work when I have other things going on.

Graduation Year: 2016

I've been living in Europe since I started and they were so helpful! I absolutely have been having the best experience and this is my 5th college. My favorite thing about this college is the textbooks are on an app!!! Don't have to wait for shipping. I love the instructors and the work!! I have 2 quarters left and I will have finished my bachelors in 14 months. And they transferred in my associates from a different college just fine!
