Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2015

I felt the program was disorganized but completely prepared me for boards. My expectations so we're to teach me what I need to know to pass boards and be a competent nurse and then I found my own job to fine tune my skills and evolve into a better nurse.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2017

I am very surprised by the number of negative reviews on here! I have had such a great experience at this school and with all of the staff and instructors. I am in the second quarter of the nursing program at Rasmussen College - Rockford Campus. What I quickly learned is that you have to be a very motivated and independent learner to be successful at this school. The courses are mostly online, and they move quickly through the material. If you are not disciplined enough to learn the material on your own and complete the course work on time, then you probably won't be successful at this school. The program is not easy, and the format in which this school teaches its students is not for everyone. Personally, I believe that Rasmussen College is a fantastic school that takes much pride in the quality nurses that their program produces. They care about their students and provide them with endless resources to ensure that they are successful. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is serious about their education and is not afraid to work hard for it.

Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2016

I have had great experiences with this school! I am nearly finished and have gotten an A grade every semester in every class. i work at a Bright Horizons which is a "partner school" with Rasmussen and received discounts for my credits. Most of my professors were fair. Every other semester is seemed i would get a difficult professor but I got through it. This program is not easy, it is hard work but so worth it! i am now able to advance in my early Childhood career thanks to Rasmussen's accelerated program and flex options. i took 4 FREE classes while attending and enjoyed every minute of it. I have seen so many bad reviews but I have had no negative experiences that weren't resolved. I was even put through to the Dean when i had an issue, there customer service is astounding. I recommend Rasmussen to anyone looking to advance their career within their field of study! Thank you Natalie and Karen for your support during my attendance!

Degree: Business Administration and Management, General
Graduation Year: 2016

I see many negative reviews on this site and what I noticed is they are all generally written by Nursing students. I recently obtained my degree in Business Administration and I have nothing but positive things to say. I might not be a fan of the way the courses are set up but just like all things, you get what you put into it. The materials that were given were similar to the ones that I have received at my previous school (Depaul). While there were some bad apples in regards to professors I would say that the majority of them were knowledgeable and helpful. Many of them in their introductions would let you know what their background was, what schools they attended, and other current occupations. I feel that it is rather easy to know if someone is lying and I have no doubt that these teachers are telling the truth. Some even have brought in example of their current projects at work to help facilitate our education. I will admit that the tests are rather easy but this could be attributed to my effort of reading every chapter and conducting outside research. Again, you get what you put in and I have grown more knowledgeable of my subject. As far as careers go I received a job offer within three months of graduation and couldn't be happier at my current occupation.

Degree: Marketing
Graduation Year: 2015

I was looking for a program that would be relevant to my career goals so I enrolled in the Marketing program. The teachers were good, especially those teaching the marketing classes. The focus on digital and social media was very helpful in my current position. Make sure that you do some pre-work before you take the statistics class! The program was hard but well worth it. I would recommend Rasmussen.

Degree: Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research and Clinical Nursing, Other
Graduation Year: 2017

I did the Licensed Practical Nursing diploma program and was so happy with the school. The instructors were available through email or phone almost 24/7. They were all very helpful and knowledgeable. I graduated and passed my state board exam first attempt. I got a great job a week after passing state boards. Now I am working and back at Rasmussen for the ADN program to become an RN. I can't speak for everywhere but the campus I attend is great. I would recommend to anyone. On another note the VA pays for my education from the GI bill so I cannot speak for cost but I would of spent the money to attend if I had to. Nothing bit good things to say here.

Graduation Year: 2010

I earned my AAS degree in 2004 and loved to tell everyone, Rasmussen is the best colleage in the earth. That's why, I went back and finsih another two bachelor's degrees. I was a transfer student. Instructors at Rasmussen College are super helpful. Whenever I sent email to them, I must receive reply on time. All my majors were in Business that it's a great help for my career. I got a new job before my AAS degree graduation and promotion after my first bachelor degree. My boss told me, I truly qualified new position. I truly appreciate Rasmussen College giving me a new life.
